CHAPTER -2

Shock after shock as Abhi learnt the innocence of the girl he married. Everything she had done for him and his family.

Methili felt shame wash over her. Aliya was just stunned, She just wanted Pragya to feel the hurt she felt, the pain of betrayal but never expected that Pragya got nothing but that throughout her life. Her pain was immeasurable and Aliya knew that minute, had she been in Pragya's place she would have ended her life long back. Could she ever make up to Pragya?

Abhi wondered on the same line" How am I going to make up to her?"

Abhi felt himself shivering as he opened the door of his room. His eyes searched for her. As he walked in he found her sitting like a stone in the balcony.He wanted to talk but what he did not know for words had deserted him. He proceeded to open the door but stopped as she did not let him.

The rains were lashing out so heavily, the striking of thunder woke Pragya up. She tried to move but something stopped her. She realized instantly that she was in a bed hugged by her so called husband. Abhi's hands deep around her waist. She was under his neck, breath falling on his chest. Pragya closed her eyes capturing that moment in her heart forever. A memory etched in her heart forever ...

Aliya turned in her sleep as she felt hot air coming in and the it was gone in few seconds...

Abhi woke up wondering on the absence of the morning Bhajans...

He looked around hoping to catch a glimpse of her. But there was nothing but vacuum. An emptiness surrounding the whole mansion, it was suffocating in being. The loud banging of the door woke him completely. It was Aliya and Akash and as he opened a panicked Aliya began to open the balcony door, the washroom and finally an empty wardrobe..

A very confused Abhi-"guys what is it so early?"

Akash-"Bhai. Who.. Bhabhi is.."

Abhi-"What where is she?"

Aliya-"She is missing" in a trembling voice

Abhi-"What?"

Aliya-"I wanted to talk to her but she is nowhere to be seen in the house."

Akash-"I called her up in her house but she is not there, her university doesn't know either. Bhai I am scared ".

Abhi knew he was doomed.

3 hours later..

Bulbul tried to stay strong as the police left after promising to search for Pragya Abhishek Mehra. She watched as Dadi sobbed and her Mom weep silently. Abhi in a state of shock and Aliya emotionless..

Purab controlling himself from revealing anything about Pragya Mehra ..

50 miles away from Bombay..

She breathed in the fresh air... Her first step towards freedom as of now IT Was Over

yes i do quite like it! so pragya made a break for it, and purab might know something? hhmm. i really liked the scene where she wakes up in his embrace...and how powerful that she decides it's not enough to make her stay. hoping for more soon, you've left us with so many intriguing mysteries! thanks for the update :)
