Last chapter guys!!

Pragya came home and was angry that no one had wished her for her birthday. Even her maa had not phoned and neither had bulbul. She walked into the house and all the lights were off. She called out loud but no one answered.

All of a sudden all the lights turned on and everyone was singing happy birthday to her. She certainly hadn't expected this and was delighted. Abhi came to her and hugged her. Tanu watched and stormed off in anger.

"Happy birthday chashmish." He said

"Thanks" said pragya smiling up at him.

Daadi asked robin to bring the table with the cake. Pragya cut the cake and gave it to everyone. Abhi made sure that this time he would take extra care of pragya. He didn't want anything to happen to her like the last time there was a party at the house but Tanu didn't know about this. Tanu had phoned some men to kidnap pragya throughout the party.

Everyone was dancing and the lights went off. Pragya had gone to the kitchen and was coming back with a tray in the corridor when she felt a hand pull her. The tray dropped from her hand and she screamed. The man put his hand over her face to stop her a second too late. He pulled her out of the door and into the car.

Abhi had heard the noise and followed. By the time he reached outside the car had left and abhi saw pragya banging on the window. He got the other car and followed.

The car stopped near a cliff. Abhi stayed behind to see what exactly this man wanted. The man pulled pragya out and from the front door Tanu stepped out. Abhi felt the anger in him rise and he opened the door and stormed towards her. Tanu saw him and got the men to hold on to pragya. Pragya was also surprised to see Tanu.

"Stop right there or I will get the men to push pragya off the cliff." She shouted.

"Tanu don't you dare" he shouted "leave pragya alone."

"What do you think I am? Mad?" She said laughing. "I tried so hard to get you but this pragya ruined all my plans. I will kill her."

She nodded at the men and they pushed her to the ground. Pragya screamed in pain. Abhi tried to rush towards her but the men grabbed him. He tried to move but couldn't.

"That is exactly what I want!" Tanu screeched. "Watch what I do to pragya and you can stand there not being able to do anything."

She pulled pragyas hair and bent her face back.

"Please Tanu" cried pragya "Please don't do this. My baby will die." Pragya pleaded but Tanu ignored her.

Tanu carried on shouting at pragya about what she wanted to do to her while abhi managed to pull his arm away from one man. He punched him and swung his leg round and kicked the other. Once he had beaten them up he ran towards pragya. Tanu pushed pragya but before she could fall off the edge of the cliff abhi caught her hand and pulled her towards him. He slapped tanu. He felt like killing tanu but pragyas scream stopped him. Pragya was clutching her stomach.

"Abhi please save our baby." She cried "I won't be a able to live without it."

Her screams were getting louder. Tanu tried to run away but the police arrived. She was taken away and abhi picked pragya up and took her to the car. Abhi tried to comfort her but nothing helped.

When he arrived at the hospital pragya was taken away by the doctors. Abhi phoned the families and they arrived. He explained what had happened and everyone was shocked. They were all waiting for the doctors.

The image of pragya crying and screaming in pain kept on flashing infront of him. She had done so much for Tanu and this was how she had payed her back. Pragyas screams had faded now and the doctor came out.

"I'm sorry but she is in a very critical state. We will have to do an operation but it is risky. We can either save the baby or the mother. What do you want us to do." She asked.

"Save the mother." Said abhi. "Please do what you can but make sure nothing happens to her."

Abhi felt horrible as he said those words but he couldn't let anything happen to his chashmish. The doctor went back in and he operation started. Many hours later she came back outside.

"Well, you are extremely lucky. Your wife and baby are both out of danger." She congratulated the family.

Abhi ran in to meet them. Pragya was sitting up and the baby was in her arms. Abhi smiled at his family. Everyone else rushed in behind.

"Pragya are you okay?" He asked

"I am fine" she said. "Look how cute he is."

Abhi held the little boy. He was so small. Daadi smiled at her grandson. Everyone took it on turns to hold the baby boy.

"What are you going to name him jiju?" Bulbul asked eagerly.

"Umm I don't know I will let daadi decide." Said abhi.

"How about abhigyan. He looks just like you." Said daadi.

Everyone smiled at abhi and his family. Daadi felt relieved. Her wish had been fulfilled. Her Abhi had a cute small family and she knew he would take care of them no matter what.

After 2 days pragya was discharged. The newspapers were filled with news of the junior rockstar. Tanu was behind bars for attempted murder and abhi went to meet her. He threw the newspaper at her face.

"You tried so hard to separate us but evil never wins over good. How dare you try and kill my pragya! She is mine and no one in this world can take her away from me, not even you." He shouted.

Tanu ripped the newspaper. She screamed at abhi but he had gone and she was left there screeching.

At the Mehra mansion abhi was in his room looking at pragya. She had just finished feeding abhigyan and abhi smiled at her. He picked up his little boy and began to sing to him. He gestured pragya to sleep as she was tired. Pragya fell asleep on one lap and on the other lay abhigyan. Finally his family was complete and he knew that he would protect them for as long as he lived. He hugged them both and fell asleep.

Finished reading all the chapters and thought of commenting when the story ends. So here am I waiting for what to type as my mind is generating words for this small and beautiful fiction. Hmmm...

Loved that the story wasn't getting cliched. It was still in touch with its reality cause sometimes, it was becoming too much fluffy. [One of the reasons why I thought to comment later] Never mind it. You kept us, the readers especially me, hooked with this story. I loved your work. Bravo.

Awww yay wonderful ending!! Loved the beginning with annoyed prags and then the fun party surprise, she deserves that kind of joy. Was so happy to see abhi rescuing her right away and so glad that pragya was not hurt more! I can totally see abhi saying save my wife at that point but oh heaven help the world if he ever has to make that choice again :S really liked daadi's thought about her abhi's little family and the whole conclusion was sweet and satisfying. So happy you gave abhi a path to redemption after the painful beginning of this story! Thanks soo much simi, really enjoyed this story. And you know I am looking forward to the next treat from you! ;)
