Abhigya - Lost and Found LAST CHAPTER PAGE 11

It was dark and the moon was shining on the Mehra Mansion. All was silent in each room except one. Everyone was asleep except one. Pragya silently wept as she packed her bags. No one knew she was leaving. Not even abhi. She remembered what had happened the night a week before.

Abhi had come home drunk and they had made love to each other. Pragya tried to stop him but her feelings were uncontrollable. The next morning abhi had woken up and after realising he had slept with pragya he had shouted at her and blamed her. Pragya had listened to his accusing comments. Abhi said what had happened between them was a sin and didn't mean anything. Pragya a few days later had found out she was pregnant. She was happy but after remembering abhis hurtful words felt her happiness crashing down on top of her. This was the only solution and she had to leave.

She picked up her bags and looked at abhi sleeping peacefully.

"I love you." She said tears falling from her eyes. "Bye." And with that she left the room.
She walked across the hallway to daadis room. Quietly she went in and touched her feet. She came out picked her bags and that night she left. Left for the better for everyone.


The next morning abhi woke up to find a letter. He opened to read ...

Abhi, I know what happened between us was a sin according to you but for me it was he most nicest thing that probably ever happened to me. I know you hate me but I have left you because of that night. The reason is that I am pregnant. You think that this baby is a sin but not for me. I know you don't like me but for your best and our baby I have left you to your life. I hope you stay happy forever and yes I do love you. I never realised until now. I love you... Good bye.

Abhi wiped his tears. He had planned on saying sorry to pragya the moment he got up because he had felt horrible after what he had said but it was too late. Pragya had left him and gone. He cried his heart out before going outside to explain to both families the truth of their relationship which pragya had tried to change. He did too but of course, when you realise it is almost too late...

Abhi came back from his new producers meeting once again. He felt tired and went to his room. This had become his routine for the past 2 months. He hated his life and to get away from the thoughts that haunted him he tried to take up as much work as possible. Each night he would remember the night between him and pragya. He loved her but of course by the time he realised it was too late. He remembered how he had had to talk and explain to both families the truth of their relationship. Both families had shattered. His daadi hadn't spoken to him since and he felt that it was what he deserved. Sarla maa had completely broken down but had managed to get through it. All she had asked was where pragya had gone but even he didn't know. He had thought pragya would have told her family where she went but after that conversation he had realised she hadn't told anyone anything. She had just left him and taken their baby. He wondered every night where she could have gone but never came to any conclusions. He had asked for aliya's and Tanu's help to tell everyone the truth but they had ignored him. His sister and tanu who he thought he loved had left him had ignored him.

After that incident he had pushed tanu out of his life forever and aliya never tried to speak to him, neither did he. They would just look at each other and say hi or bye at the very most.

Abhi lay on his bed and stared at the other half. He remembered the night pragya had slept next to him with the border he had made. He smiled and cried at the same time. He looked around the room. He looked at the sofa where she had been sleeping the morning they had to leave for the ad shoot for the baby product and the night where they had been scared of the house which they had thought was haunted. He cried more now. Those memories made him cry each night before he would finally fall asleep. He walked outside to the balcony and started at the moon. This made him remember the night he had woken up to see pragya in his arm after he had mixed alcohol in her drink. No matter where he went he would never be able to forget her. His chashmish...

He picked up his guitar making him remember the night she had pretended that she was a rockstar. She looked so happy and free then. He began to play his favourite tune and finally fell asleep dreaming about his chashmish and their baby which he knew he would never get.

Pragya was trying to fall asleep. She had gained shelter with her friend who she had know for a long time in Mumbai. She had found a job and payed her rent. It was 2 months into her pregnancy and she had started to show slightly. She put on her smile each day but at night she couldn't help but cry. She stared at the other empty half of the bed where she remembered Abhi. She wondered what everyone was like at home. Whether they were happy. She got up unable to sleep. She got out some tests she still had to mark for her students and began looking at them. She didn't realise when she fell asleep with her head on the table and dreamt about a happy family which she knew she would never have.
