Thanks for reading the first two stories. I love reading your comments and thanks for the encouragement to continue writing. My stories will continue from the previous story and this third story is "The danger that lurks". If you've missed the earlier ones then it began with "The Bargain" and then there was "Second Chances".

"The danger that lurks"
Chapter 1
After the wedding Abhi finally took Pragya to Shimla and Switzerland. They were gone for months and both were unaware of what lay home. Purab and Akash both handled Abhi's business and they were not looking forward to breaking the dreaded news when they returned.
Abhi and Pragya just got back home when Abhi began regretting coming back, it was so peaceful there and he enjoyed spending much quality time with his Chashmish. He had just sat on his sofa when Purab and Akash came running in. They didn't even ask about their honeymoon and straight away Abhi is told "Bhai, we urgently need to talk to you" says Akash. It's been about 5 minutes and Abhi is patiently waiting as these two can't even muster out what was so urgent. Purab says a word or two then Akash would resume but he doesn't get much out either.
Pragya is back with chai and some snacks. Akash tells Pragya "Thanks, we missed you both a lot and only you can make the best chai." Laughing off the comment Pragya says "Thanks, drop by anytime and you'll always get the same chai. Stay for dinner, we will probably order in as there's nothing in the fridge. What would you like to eat?" Purab tells Pragya "Anything you like, we both aren't choosy about food and we can eat just about everything. Why don't you look at what to order and meanwhile we need to talk to bhai." Pragya agrees and walks back to the kitchen to look at the menus that were saved in a drawer. Abhi's getting impatient and he begins to let his buddy and bro know "Can't this wait till tomorrow. I know everyone was waiting anxiously for their rockstar to come back but" Purab cuts Abhi off and hands him a big stack of paper.
Abhi's read every single email and it all has to do with his Chashmish. Someone is not happy seeing Abhi and Pragya living their lives together so threatening emails were sent every day. The email addresses vary each day but the message is more or less the same that Pragya's life is in danger. Abhi looks up and tells the two "After marrying Pragya the first time you saw the emails, mails etc I was getting. It varied from why did you marry someone else to threatening to harm me and/or Pragya. It's because of these threats we stars hire the best of security. Why are you two worried about this? Someone is venting and I don't like how the target is my Pragya but we've seen this before." Akash takes out another stack but this time it's pictures and he says "This person is following you two. We got a picture everyday, random pics letting us know that person is there. We didn't alarm you bhai because the messages all say enjoy the honeymoon and when you're back the games begin and your wife is the target. It also says you can't be happy when I'm not." Abhi was quiet as he had a lot to absorb and he didn't want to believe his Pragya was in danger. A phone rings and Abhi checks his phone and reads the text "Welcome back. You now know your time with Pragya is going to be cut short because you can't save her from me." A piercing shriek shocks the guys and they all run towards the kitchen and Abhi shouts "Chashmish!"
