Abhi and Pragya's eyelock is ackwardly broken by the arrival of Rahul.

Hey, Mr. Mehra, we didn't get a chance to properly meet earlier. I'm Rahul Khanna. Aapka lawyer, Mr. Singh iss waqt busy hai toh mujhe iss case ko handover kiya. Acha? I'm Abhi, says Abhi as the duo shakes hands. Rahul then turns his attention over to Pragya. And you must be Pragya, right? Haan, says Pragya. Rahul extends his hand towards her, Hi I'm Rahul, naam toh sona hi hoga? jokes Rahul as they shake hands.

Pragya gives him a confused smiled, while Abhi gapes semi-shocked. Did the man just subtly hit on his wife?

Jo aapne station me kiya, woh bahut bahadur thi. I was really impressed, mera matalab I'm sure you weren't trying to impress anyone, woh...I...says Rahul as he fumbles to form coherent sentences. He then abruptly hands her a handkerchief. Here, aapki face mein khoon hai, he says as he inwardly curses himself for being such a dork. The girl's eyes were a bit spellbounding.

Main vada karte hoon main aapka hall aur Abhi sir ko bacha loongi.

Uhm thanks, replies Pragya. She then looks over at Abhi, who was silently watching the pair. Hurt at seeing his silence and the still annoyed look on his face, she resignedly says, aap dono baat karo, I'll wait in the car.

Rahul's eyes follow Pragya as she gets into the car. Abhi's eyes are on Rahul. He suddenly didn't want Rahul on this case. Meri samane meri biwi ko line mar raha hai, he thinks. Is this what they teach in law school?

Rahul turns to Abhi and says, You don't meet a girl like that everyday. She's definitely a keeper. Kya? says Abhi. Uhh kuch nahi, main aapka case sort out karoongi aur aapko khabar doonge, replies Rahul. Abhi simply nods and then gets into the backseat of the car next to Pragya.

The car ride home was deathly silent. Abhi kept stealing glances at Pragya while Rahul's words played in his head. Pragya, on the hand, resolutely stared out the window. She was annoyed with Abhi's behavior. How can a man put eveything on the line to save her family one minute, then turn into an utter beast the next? She just couldn't understand him. Once they reached home, Pragya burst out of the car and strode straight towards their bedroom. She didn't want Dadi to get hurt seeing her face. Hey, Chashmish, wait up, yelled Abhi, but Pragya ignored him. Once in the bedroom, Pragya grabbed the first aid box and went to the mirror to survey the damage. She was cleaning her wound and wincing in pain when Abhi came inside carrying a tray with a bag of ice. Seeing her struggle, he came up to her and set the tray down.

Here, let me do it, he says. Pragya, still annoyed, says, Nahi, main khud karungi. Chashmish, itne zidd tumhare health ki liya achi nahi hai. Tum ek achi bachi hoon na? Mujhe de. He turns Pragya to face him and takes the ointment out of her hands. Pragya protests, but Abhi doesn't relent. As he is about to apply the ointment, Pragya stubbornly turns her head. Acha? Asi baat hai. Teeka. He then grabs the side of Pragya's face, cupping it with his hand. Trapped, Pragya can do nothing but watch Abhi as he gently applies ointment to the side of Pragya's mouth.

Agar tumhare pass thodi si dimaak thi, asi nahi hota, he chides. Pragya opens her mouth to protest, but Abhi cuts in, Muh baand karo varna! Pragya quickly shuts her mouth and gives him a death stare. Abhi can't help but smile, he turns his attention back to her mouth. Without thinking he slightly caresses her bottom lip.

Mhm, her lips are actually very nice. Very plump and full, he ponders. Abhi then remembers the time he almost did mouth to mouth on Pragya when she was unconcious in the car. Mhm, I wonder...he thinks. He moves closer to her then looks up into Pragya's eyes. Pragya, taken aback by the sudden desire she saw in Abhi's eyes, slightly moves back.

Abhi! Snap out of it dude! Were you really just thinking to kiss Chashmish?? Yuck! You really need to get away from her and all the confusing feelings she evokes in you.

Abhi, awkwardly takes his hands off Pragya's face and looks everywhere but at her. His eyes land on the bag of ice.

Here. Put this ice on your face. Tumhe thodi aram milega, aur Dadi mujhe thappad nahi dega. K? Bye. He then runs out of the room and goes as far away from Pragya and her tempting lips as he could get.
