interesting post...

I think its very wrong for abhi to maintain r/ship with tannu after marrying pragya...of course here for drama n all ... revenge sister etc...

looking the drama scope, abhi & aliya were so angry that purab left aliyah at the mandap, its wrong for purab 2, but at least purab stood up n choose his love rather than to marry a girl he does not love n keep thinking abt BB... here its funny how aliya / abhi does see it in pragya context...

I think abhi does love tannu but here his love its more to attraction, to fulfil his needs but not on an emotional level... I dun remember a time it was shown tannu n abhi talking abt their life, love... its always abt money, contract, plotting n plotting... lets get together... as for tannu same shes after abhi coz hes a rockstar, fame, money, popularity etc...

As for pragya abhi does not get romantically involved with her but yes he is drawn to her for various reason...mayb marriage is one of the reason they are connected as well... of course b4 marriage they had their hit & misses too...

if given chance to choose now, I still feel abhi will choose tannu over pragya... anytime...

I have nothing against the actor, but the character is an annoyance.

Welll, yes he had promised Tannu commitment, and so did Purab as well to Aaliya, but many forum members including me had reasoned that he couldn't have stopped himself from falling in love with Bulbul because love just happens. So if Abhi falls in love with Pragya, how would it be any different than Purab.

He is not realising that it was never a love for Tannu but just an attraction.
Now he will realise what love is because he will start devlop feelings towards Pragya and will see the differences!

theyve shown from the beginning that with tannu its just a physical infatuation he's too naive to realize that she isnt the right one

with pragya its on an emotional level

its similar to ASR-lavanya-khushi except lavanya was nice

He can . Archie also loved Veronica and Betty. I think he was a little partial towards Veronica. Here its Tanu. Archie and Abhi are both fictional characters. So wats the big deal.I think many ppl loved Archie comics.

I guess what Abhi feels towards Tannu is not love though he thinks it is love, it is mostly physical attractions and he is also attracted to her glamour which is missing in Pargya.

And what he is feeling for Pargya is going to be the one true love, which he started feeling and denying!

Tannu is an infatuation because she is beautiful, she's hot and she gives him what a woman is only supposed to do after marriage

Pragya on the other hand is beautiful but does not flaunt it like Tannu does, she's innocent and she's a virgin and which bad boy won't wanna marry an innocent virgin girl? and he knows Pragya is a good human being he's seen it countless times but refuses to admit it because of bakwas his sister and gf instilled in his head

so Abhi can be Loyal except he's too guillable Tannu can fool him with her beauty and her skills 😉 but she can never be as pure as Pragya is

I would say, between a man and a woman, there are things beyond love and attraction...
Majority of girlfriend-boyfriends or man-wife we see in real life don't have elements which we see in dramas.
Abhi-Tanu are bf-gf, there is attachment because you have spent a lot of time with each other, there are some sort of duties that Abhi has to do as a boyfriend, it is not always about love, sometimes people r gf-bf because they want to have someone to be attached to and to get attention and care. There is attraction, and why wouldn't it be?
In case of Pragya, he subconsciously knows that this girl is right, her good nature, sincerity makes him feel good for her + the husband-wife relation & the values attached to it makes him feel husbandly though logically he shouldn't. with time, they developed a connection too, but not strong enough to make dem see it.
It is the personality of Pragya plus husband-wife relation that makes d difference. Tanu is evil minded,ambitious which stops him from being that ideal lover.

For now I guess there is no love for Abhi.
With Tanu, it is loyality and attraction...
With Pragya, it is a bonding which will grow into love I guess...
Its not being in love with two women. And he has committed to only one.

Abhi seems to think he can continue abusing Pragya and still have her (which ofcourse he does, going by her behaiour towards him inspite of teh abuse );

He also seems to think that he will always have Tany with him inspite of the fact that he has actually married Pragya according to all social and legal norms...

Just as Pragya's situation and possible feelings dont mean much to him when he actually wants to do what he wants ( eg he knows she is not "that" girl still throws her out of the house coz he is angry on behalf of his sister), neither do Tanu's feelings when he wants to go and spend time with Pragya for whatever reasons and under whatever pretext ( dadi, dadi, dadi, ofcourse).

So instead of he loving two women at the same time , I am seeing it as he doesnt love either of them at any time.

The way the character of Abhi is progressing - and this has no offence meant to Shabbir, who is so lovable - he seems to me to be obsessed only with himself and what matters to him - i.e. his dadi and his sister.

Dont you see, in addition to not loving the two women in discussion( Pragya and Tanu),

he doesnt even love Purab , who is supposed to be his childhood friend from their rough times together.

Just because the baby faced Shabbir is enacting it, the character of Abhi gets sympathy from us aience , but if you take that away, you will see Abhi as a very selfish and often cruel character having very little greay matter to think independently for himself.

ab aur kya kahun... ye Abhi bashing nahin hai - ek dukh bhari pukaar hai Abhi ke character ko thoda human banaane ke liye - after all who wouldnt like to see Shabbir in a well sketched role !
