How can Abhi love two people at the same time? - Page 2

Okay, let me tell you what I think.

Tannu and Abhi- The very first scene we saw of them had her asking him to go with her on a drive/date. But he refuses saying I want to go meet my Daadi. And we have seen that often. He ignores Tannu and prioritizes several other things in his life. He was also shown to go to his concert right away while Tannu was asking him to come meet her.
When he proposed to Tannu as Daadi was on his head to have him married, she rejected. He was not sad but angry. He even threw the ring away and when she tried to get back to him over the matter, he was indifferent. He was not heartbroken that she rejected him but ego broken. So does Abhi love Tannu? I am not sure. I don't see deeper emotions between them? Is he attracted to her and fond of her? Oh Yes.

And we all know that Tannu also puts her selfish deeds before Abhi and doesn't love him. If you ask me who cares more about each other, it's definitely Abhi.

Coming to Abhi and Pragya- Do they have some connection? Of course, Yes. That's why they end up lost in each other's eyes. But that's beyond them. Abhi and Pragya both know that they have some pull towards each other. Abhi definitely does not entertain that thought in a romantic way. He does try to annoy her, bother her and try to be around her because he likes her company. But not once, he has really made a romantic move on her whether she was in a bathtub with him or wherever.

He has never given her any indication that he is romantically attracted to her. Never made such a move on her except for their latest dance, which I would say can be excused under the name of dance.

Does Abhi love Pragya? At a subconscious level, he has some strong emotion for her. That's why he even had his eyes wet when she hugged him in pain. But Abhi is not entertaining those emotions at all, a) because he thinks she is bad. b)because he is loyal to Tannu. The loyal to Tannu reason is secondary because he does not love Tannu deeply.

Can a person love two people at a time.. Yes, it's possible, humans are complicated. And things get very complicated in such situations! Is Abhi doing that? No. Definitely not at his conscious level.

If Abhi has started feeling for Pragya, these unnamed emotions of caring, regret, etc, should he not involuntarily be withdrawing from a physical relationship with Tannu instead of seeking/welcoming physical proximity with her?

Abhi does not recognize his feelings to Pragya as love or attraction yet. He even feels loving or even caring for Pragya is forbidden (today's dialog, he is pissed that he cared for Pragya). So, he does not need to withdraw from Tannu as of now!

As of right now, he is not leading Pragya on... he treats her like crap - but he never alluded to loving her. The one person he is lying to about his feelings is mainly himself and I think to a lesser degree Tannu.

Tannu might be vamp and all, but she is still under the impression that Abhi loves her and thats wrong if he is starting to love his wife.

All said and done... Abhi needs to pull himself together and resolve his inner conflict. Only then can he truly love someone and be loyal to them.

In my opinion Abhi is basically two timing. And his character is very poor, any mistake by pragya in future and he will jump back to taanu.

Firstly he promised commitment to taanu, so why fall in love with pragya. Isnt that why purab is being punished by the evil trio?

Secondly he pretends to love pragya when daadi is near, otherwise physically tortures her. He feels attracted because what he thought of her character is not what he sees, so more of confused. But love I doubt.

From whatever I have seen, he is emotionally driven and gets instigated easily. A person who can have physical relationship with one while gets attracted to other at exactly same period, his loyalty is a BIG question mark for me.

Lol, I don't really get what ppl mean by physical torture. I mean it might hurt Pragya emotionally at times, but she knows he's under a MU and she is partly the reason for this Mu not being cleared. The only thing that would qualify is the dripping thing, which I also frankly didn't like. But she is a bad person according to him. And more than "torture" it was annoying her. In fact, Aaliya was havin doubts if whether he married Pragya to torture her or to love her! And about Purab. Abhi wasn't trying to punish him but save him from a goldigger. And then he was angry that he committed to marry Aaliya while being in love with Bulbul and wanting to run away with her. As far as I know(because I didn't watch today's epi and yesterday's yet, Abhi never asked Purab why he fell in love with Bulbul, but why did you cheat my sister(please correct me if I'm wrong) And also Purab just jumped up and said that he will marry Aaliya, while we know why, the trio don't.

Right now, Abhi doesn't even know he's falling in love with Pragya. He just knows that they have this connection. But I hope that the moment he realizes it, I want him to go up to Tannu right away

@Samarth each individual has different perceptions regarding torture, for me what he did with pragya was more of a torture than annoyance.

I feel Tanu and him are just physically attracted to eachother and they believe its love. He clearly is attached to Pragya beyond her looks(since he calls her ugly or whatever. Even though the entire forum believes Pragya is some hot stuff... cause she is;)

In my opinion, Abhi does not love Tanu. He feels a connection with her because she believes in pretty much the same values he believes in, which was kind of what was mentioned in this show in the beginning phases. The only reason he wanted to marry Tanu instead of anyone else was because she had this love for money that Abhi had as well.

What he feels for Pragya is much different. He actually has a different connection and a different bond with Pragya and that was apparent from his first meeting with her. As soon as he met her for the first time, he had a connection. He was drawn toward her and thought about her quite a bit.

Praya evokes a lot of emotions from Abhi. She's kind of this person he hates but at the same time he doesn't. When he's with Pragya and he's gazing in her eyes or they are really close to each other you can see the emotional connection between them, which is pretty much absent when he is with Tanu. Yes, he has a psychical relationship with Tanu, but his heart truly belongs to Pragya.
