Dear Ekta Maam.... Plea from a loyal fan

Dear Ekta Maam,

I am a die-hard shabbir ahluwalia fan and love sriti as well. So was addicted to kumkumbhaghya right from the start. However with time and other great shows coming up mostly on zee's new channel, this is how I feel:

1. Sometimes when I juggle and expedite all my housework and office work to make time for this show I feel very disappointed when all I see is a dance parade on this show. I swear there have been atleast 5 episodes where we have seen abhi and pragya break the dance floor in a buffoon manner. To say the least I am disgusted when he throws her around. One thing these CV's don't understand is the rugged, tall dark, handsome M & B boons hero would never humiliate his partner to scar her publicly. Simply and blindly imitating M & B hero style antics in a desi serial is not working anymore. I mean why we are subjected to these dance parades weekly is my problem.
2. Abhi clearly enjoys physical relationship with Tanu. In a subtle way are these serials promoting the fact that win over your cheating husband with love and care,accept infidelity? I mean please...wake up... I mean for Christ sake Pragya's character is a PHD. Get a life CV's. She should focus on her job and future rather than her cheating drool worthy husband... (love Shabbir)... And the woman had spunk in the start. Please don't humiliate the character like this.
3. The actress who plays Tanu looks so pretty in the Airtel ad. Please work on her make-up. She's pretty young and cute. Please make her look as cute as she looked there. Her hair looks like a bear here.
4. Pragya looks as if Abhi makes her starve to death. Please ask Pragya to eat more. Sriti .. I am a loyal fan. Man... you have really started looking reed thin.
5. Change pragya's glasses. In every romantic scene.. i feel like breaking her glasses and cant focus on Shabbir.
6. Love Shabbir... Muaaahh... Great Job.
7. And Ekta Maam ... Please do not make Tanu pregnant and complicate things even further. I mean I don't understand why cant we make simple mature romantic serials which focus on adult relationships. All I see in serials these days is :
1. Eyelocks and "la la " music in background
2. Girl falls on boy
3. Girl's hair falls on boy's face
4. Girl cant close her blouse buttons !!! One more time you show this here i will come to balaji office and plead. There are more romantic ways. This scene was inspired by this jenifer Lopez movie and has been done to death now. I mean every second serial. plhhhz
5. Vamp makes plans; i mean seriously... these look like scriptwriters have nothing to write today and so these "tarkeebs" and "plans" come in as fillers.
6. More Eyelocks and more "la la " music in background
7. And this trend of bad boys and simpletons is passe. Please get a life !!! A woman as educated as pragya should be leading a company. i hate when we subject such wonderful characterizations to such miseries.
8. Dadi and all elders rock.
9. Mr. Anil Kapoor has serious competition from Suresh. lol.. if you know what i mean.😉

Dear Ekta Maam - I have cried my heart out as I have an exam to give in 3 months and I am allowed me only 30 minutes of TV per day which I have reserved for kumkum bhaghya. So, please intervene and make sure my 30 minutes are worth it.

Really hun! If that's your only TV time choose a better show yaar. The story in EK shows crawls like tortoise and somehow it wins the race but I dont see whats the problem in being a steady rabbit. A good day in her show ends in half a minute and nonsense goes on for 3-4 days. Like this bloody day of Purab's wedding. Its stretching like a perfect elastic.

The eyelocks, the dori and zip scenes, the background music and all other stupid things that they show piss me off so much that I have quit watching shows. I just go through the updates once in a while because the show had initially intrigued me.

Which educated woman in today's world takes shit like Pragya does from her husband. If Abhi can tell her mom (about which she was worried) even she can tell Abhi's dadi. She knew that she will be thrown out once Purab and Aliya get married but she kept jhelofying her husband instead of reasoning out of it or finding another solution. Even if Purab had not left the mandap, this would have ultimately happened. Pragya should have found a solution by now to this problem. But no , its an Ekta show, how can we expect anything sane.
