That was a touching moment. The poor girl had no one else but him to take refuge and that was the only shoulder she could see at that moment of despair. I loved it when Abhi hugged her back and stroked her head in consoling her. He will be their for her till such time Sarla is OK and may say her daughter will be with her for some more time to take care of her rather than telling she has no place in his house. But for sure, he will be sweet to Sarla and Dadi

sorry but I have a different opinion, this is not the same Pragya ..she has no self respect left. Despite all insults, suggestion to commit suicide and ill behavior of Abhi, she is there in his arms...

I am amazed to see all of you loving it, this is the only reason why in TV soaps, we hardly see women characters with a spine.

I would love to watch these type of scenes and romance between Pragya and Abhi, if and only if Abhi would have realized his mistake and asked for Pragya's forgiveness.

No matter if Abhi has responded back to her hug, the fact remains the same- he is the same one who insulted her, thrashed her with his words, instigated Dadi against her and ill treated her...

No offense, but I can't enjoy this scene at this moment at-least.

When you mother had an heart attack and is in critical condition, and you have not seen her before she was taken into ICU, your self respect will not come into picture. In that moment any known person who may be trying help your mother to recover will look like a God and you tend to release your agony on his / her shoulder. That has nothing to do with whether you love that person or hate that person.

Even she knew the fact that even though he insulted her or hates her, he had no issues with her mother and he had always respected her and treated her with high esteem. I would have hated the situation had it ben shown that just to show in front of her mother, if Pragya rushed to him and hugged him crying but here she was fearing her mothers condition and he was the only one she thought could help her in getting her mother back (staying alive), he was the only ray of hope she had.

why does she need Abhi's shoulder? She has her own dadi, aunt, uncle, sister and friend with her? what was the need to hug him? she is bold enough to hug him but not brave enough to confront him and shut his mouth when he was insulting him? asking her to suicide?

I am not saying that she should misbehave with Abhi when he visits to see her mother, but HUG??? and you all are going ga-ga over it? giving unique explanation and justification?

Even if he is helping her, on first place, she should never ever take his help. She is educated professor and self dependent.

Only ray of hope? seriously? what this hug symbolizes? a bechari abla naari with no other option or ray of hope??? If this hug symbolizes emotional support then who is Abhi to give her emotional support, he is the same one who is having affair & sleeps with gf,torturing his wife for sister??

so how longer you want this torture on her should continue for the sake of keeping her mother alive? is there any end to it?

This is utterly foolish as Abhi, his GF and his sister are the main culprits of her mother and sister's current condition. Where is that Pragya who took a fight with the world to give justice to Suresh's sister. She herself has become a doormat.

But, if this the portrayal of women you want o see, hats off to your thinking. Keep enjoying this humiliation.
