I think some people find enjoyment in critical analysis. Even of a soap opera. I definitely do. I find that there are definitely things on this show that work. The humor, the actors are amazing. The potential for future stories has been excellently set up.
But there are things I don't like. It's not meant to offend anyone if I say I don't like how Abhi manhandles Pragya sometimes or even jokingly threatens to punch her. It isn't meant to offend people if I say Pragya is acting so dumb sometimes. I hope that's not how people feel when anyone expresses a negative opinion - that it's intended to offend posters who don't agree. I think a negative opinion, just like a positive opinion, means the poster is thinking thoughtfully about the show. They're not just consuming it by letting the background music tell them what to think. They're watching, they're taking the time to write out their thoughts. The second people stop having extreme opinions on this show is when we need to worry because that means no one cares. 😆
Thank you ... agreed with your post. Im one of those ppl who like critical analysis.
What point would the forum be if all we came to talk about would be "he looked cute" "her outfit was awesome", they were sooo funny and sweet and adorable and we enjoyed the nok-jhoks.
All of that is true and I enjoy the show. But I also like to analyse whats good and bad and would like the freedom to do so without being told to just watch and enjoy.
AND love ur line at bold, we care about the show and the good and bad in it and hence, we can discuss passionately about the pros and cons of said show. If we didn't there would be no forum activity other than frivolous posts.
Last but not least, we have sooo many shows and they are rated - G, PG, PG 13, R, etc. That means that it is indeed proven and noted that television shows influence and affect ppl. If they didnt, everyone would watch everything. So YES, some viewers do and would like to see better in a show they love since they know the actions of their beloved characters can have an impact on our normal lives.
