Totally agree with your reaction that it's just tooo ridiculous. But I think this is evidence that Aaliya is actually incredibly intelligent. How else does she come up with illogical things to convince her brother with so quickly?!! 😕

Aaliya is a cartoon of a villian. I think her character is purposely sketched that way. Even abhi is child like. Maybe they intend this as a silly, laugh it off serial. Hence it isnt heavy duty drama and even the characters behave peculiarly.
