Ah, an oft-repeated request, topic maker!
Now, to be fair, Pragya has always placed the happiness of others over that of her own. So, when faced with the possibility of her mother's health taking a turn for the worse, she chooses not to return back to her natal home. Her love for her mother and her family won over her self-respect and her own happiness.
But, has she reconciled herself to a life of suffering silently whatever the evil brother and sister dish out? She appeared to have done this.
An episode later, a few hours in soap-time later, and we have some hope. While she may have suffered silently during the reception, it is during the reception that she has fully understood the plot. It is now that she has understood who her alleged boyfriend is. And, she told Purab that she believes him and his love for Bulbul.
While the presence of her family members may have played a part in her keeping quiet, she proved that silence can be as evocative as words. Witness her delivering certain "looks" to Abhi during the dance. I am hoping that she may yet defy the doormat stereotype.
We have a lady who faked Akash's impotency report in order to goad him blurt out the truth about Rachna. Under that very roof, this lady can yet play out a part to prove that she still has her wits about her. Under that very roof, she can soon master the steps of the very same dance that Abhi was out to teach her.
All she has to do is assess the strengths and weaknesses of her opponents.
Abhi the rockstar has some very visible and palpable weak points -- the media and the public. If Pragya gathers her wits around her, the Happy Love-crooning rockstar will have to have his PR-running extra-time to ensure that the media is not hanging around flat no. 1803 or its occupant. And, who handles all the mess he gets into or prevents him from getting into a mess? A certain friend called Purab. If Purab can clear out his mess for him, he can also strategically mess up some things.
Abhishek the grandson, too, has a weak point. His grandmother and his blind love and affection for his sister and other family members. Well, Pragya need not even involve them.
But, these are things that Pragya can easily pick up on, while engaging with the avenging rockstar-cum-brother.
