Abhi & Pragya - how the truth will or should impact their relation

Abhi has chosen to marry Pragya for the sake of his sister; the belief is she wants money. However, I would have also liked to have seen some reason for this marriage on the part of Abhi - for example, Pragya embarrassed him on television by mocking his character. As a entertainer or artist that can be highly damaging to their career. If Abhi punishes Pragya because he does not like her, the hurt will be severe but at the same time, when he realizes the truth, he can only blame himself and not just Aliya and the guilt will be real.

However, once he realizes the truth, will he suddenly fall in love with Pragya or will he try to make amends just by being a nice guy? As a viewer it would be unbelievable if he simply fell in love with her at an instance. If anything, we would want to see him do what he can to make up for all the heart-ache he put her through. I would not want to see Pragya fall in love with him immediately either...but to stand firm for all the heartache he will have put her through. Just because she is married to him does not obligate her to be in love with him...

The ultimate crux in this story is Pragya has never been loved by a guy for either her personality or her looks and what will make this love story beautiful is when a guy like Abhi declares her love for her and assures her that she is beautiful. His learning of her rejections; her love for Suresh and that it could never have happened, are all part and package of making this love story work. However, EK's writers forget what they sell their audiences and tend to get lost. I wish she would hire someone to frequent these forums as they offer her team a great resource and a reminder of what the story they are telling...

I feel even if they didn't marry, had they kept meeting each other, Abhi would have fallen for Pragya invariably.

Even now, he feels she comes across very genuine, virtuous and innocent but since he has this pretext of Aaliyah-Purab/gold digger misconception, he believes all that she seems to be is fake. For example, when he told his friends why he is marrying her in the engagement ceremony, he blurted out some basic truths about Pragya although he was doing it for the sake of it. Goes to say, he reads her as she is, but due to his misunderstanding doesn't believe what he reads.

I think the misunderstanding will be dragged for a while. Abhi will hate her from his brain but appreciate her from his heart. She will take care of his Daadi, and his household and that will definitely put her in his good books. With calm and composed nature, she will serve a soothing factor for his hyperemotional persona. He is already in the path of falling for her and he will fall for her whether misunderstanding is cleared or not. He will go through a phase of not being able to comprehend his conflicting emotions and I think in the end, it will lead to his emotional breakdown in front of her.

Now how Pragya will fall for him? I think Pragya will be able to see the overtly loving heart he has. Just like she appreciated his voice, she will also appreciate his love for his people, his passion for his music and everything he does. In future also, he will be nice to her people, and that will be a big score he will earn in her heart. I don't think she is open to 'being loved' by him yet, although she is giving this marriage a chance. With her good nature she will bond with him and when she will feel his vibes of love and possession for her, then slowly her heart will open up for him. Since she has hardened herself to love and because she is not an effervescent person, Abhi will have a long way before he can actually win her.

Like you said, Abhi needs to make her feel beautiful. He also needs to make her aware of her womanhood, feel confident about her emotions in the matters of love. He might just have a hard time doing all this, but I guess since she will learn to appreciate the good in him, she will allow him to make her love him. His passionate and impulsive nature will make Pragya to experience emotions severely (love, passion, pain, jealousy,possession etc.), which ultimately result in her not just appreciating him but actually desiring him and getting tied to him emotionally.

I see a good potential in the story of this couple to build an endearing and passionate relationship.
