When someone cut you off in mid sentence really irk me , it is one of my pet peeves.

That said, I do believe Pragya has to have had some knowledge of music because she recognized his voice was good for the song he recited and that his singing of "Happy Love" did not do justice to his voice.

So I hope she is well versed in music. And can answer him back with an educated answer.

You're right, Tia. They don't become Professors at such a young age. As Poiu pointed out, at most, if you get a UGC-approved post, you'd start as an Assistant Professor before heading up to become an Associate Professor. Otherwise, you'd start as a Lecturer. And, we know that Pragya has not completed her doctorate. So, in real life, Professor Pragya is a bit of a stretch. But, in Indian telly-land, hola Professor Pragya Arora.

I don't know if this will have any bearing (given that, often times, we don't get much continuity in our serials). But, as a late entrant-viewer, I just watched the first episode. In this episode, Suresh, while trying to dissuade Pragya from marrying Tarun, tells her that she doesn't even know if Tarun likes the same kind of music that she does. So, at the very least, Pragya does like *some* music. It's just that her taste does not include the Happy Love genre.
