In the book, it is their step brother who usurps their home and they become destitute as a result, given the fact that women could not get jobs, and only male children inherited father's property. They worked that bit into the story cleverly.

But she has worked important bits of the main story into this story.

😆 Yes. Let's not. 😆 I can only hope that this forum also doesn't become another JA forum. I hate fanaticism myself and that's why I only end up going to Bollywood forum. Yes, they hate everyone, but that is forum experience as it was meant to be, not bowing to people I couldn't care less about. 😆
