Yeah it isreally confusing, but now Archie in the Godboles, hopefully they make a transition to the Nandas while Archie is still with Ranbir. Shanta is not necessary, I hope Pammi the Mummy stops her. Kanya doesn't need to be watched by Shantu. Plus I think Shantu trusts Rannu a little or else she wont have let them sleep on the same bed. But again she can't really do anything about that because they are in the Godboles, not enough room for movement around the house.
