I never used to hear parents coming to school and fighting why you have hit my child during my school days...

But now...how do Teachers mend students???

The reason behind can be that the small or nuclear families have less acknowledgement of what the children are doing and what atmosphere they are accustomed with.

The working parents don't have time and result is that the children are doing what ever they feel right. Be it making any kind of friends, or involvement in the anti social activities.

The main protagonists in the movies and serials, showed as getting arms in their own hands makes an impact on them that this person is right always and his actions must be followed. Similarly, when the shows or movies show that the lovers elope or run away from home, or not studying well but indulging in the love or masti :: it makes them believe that those characters are loved by one and all, then what is wrong in following them. They might even arrive at the conclusion that it is fashionable to be a criminal.

Hope this is not a bashing or what !!

A lot of times being young and having a lack of experience can lead teenagers into dangerous and often criminal situations, such as joining gangs, taking or dealing drugs and drinking. A teen's discretion isn't as fully developed as that of an adult.

Many teenagers lack positive role models in their lives. If a teenager is part of a family that is either setting a bad example,or entirely absent, they have no one to show them the correct path in life. Many teenagers simply arenot aware of the consequences of crime. Teenagers also often don't understand laws and law enforcement practices!

Conflicts, arguments, misunderstandings takes them to a level where they hardly understand what lies for them in their life ahead. Leading all this to loneliness, and finding someone who seems much finer and content in their life and start following them.

Along with, what Babita has mentioned about the Tv and media playing a significant role in adverse. They start following the wrong, cos they have seen hurdles and conflicts in the right ways they have travelled so far.

All this, and may be many are there, that are the reasons behind the teenagers falling for the crimes

Aisa nahi hai re ...from last two weeks meri nieces aayee hui thi hamare yaha...so was busy with so energetic kids..and Khushi ke school, classes..drop karo pick karo.. thats why i didn't get any time for myself...

I myself see this issue very fearfully cos this is a common in every Country today..
Every now n then.. we see the teenagers not able to do anything good in their studies.. or if they are put on some pressure back home or society.. Or they are punished for several mistakes severely.. n taking a kind of revenge or making their point ... they start falling into crimes..
Even those whose parents are not able to fulfil their needs are subjected to the crimes... which is a very crucial n must be taken some steps against.. !

My science sister (nun) used to hit with scale if we fail to perform in science...we never committed any crime...
