It was a dact that dr ashutosh had always refused dr mallika..n kept the relationship strictly that of two friends..but as there was no one in their life...that platonic relationship was also an anchor to mallika...but wirh the advent of nidhi..like a gust of monsoon..the balance had been destroyed..the brooding bachelor who enjoyed black cappachino n savoured classical music with her..began to have a taste for picnic n golguppe!!oh how could he!!"madam...bed no.14 ki surgery..."and dr mallika nodded and walked towards the OT...her life was confined to the hospital...this was her destiny..a long lonely riad...with no shoulder to lean on...

Dr ashutosh looked around in the lobby where a few non medico wives were waiting..but nidhi was no where to be seen...he walked to the room..maybe she was resting...he had hardly let her sleep the previous night...he knocked...no reply...he frowned n walked to the reception. ."any message from my wife"??the front office manager smiled n said"no sir...but yes she had come about 2 hrs back asking if we had a kids activity centre...we told her we didnt...i saw her ho out into the lawn..."!ashutosh nodded n walked out...the clouds had descended on the lawn ..and it was beautiful..the tall cypress n oak barely visible..he looked around fpr nidhi...she wasnt around..in the lawn were walking a couple...of around 30 years...the wife visibly pregnant..n the husband holding her tenderly as she walked...dr ashutosh looked a trifle irritated. ..when suddenly ..like a beam of sunshine..through the darkness..he could hear that lovely laughter of nidhi...n as he looked around..there she was ..playing with a cute baby..all rolled up in overall...must have been about 2 years...she was lifting her..yes it was a girl..with a pink bow in her hair..n then kissing her plump cheeks..clapping n rubbing noses...as the child seemed to savour her touch...ashutosh was mesmerised ...he stood still...absorbing the scene...nidhi's face transfigured with a joy that he had hardly ever seen

When suddenly he saw the young man n his preggy wife walk up to ger.

.they said something n nidhi handed over the baby to the husband but not before kissing her ten times...n the child shook her hand in a bye...as they went...ashutosh could see nidhi a lil lost...as if a part of her had been taken away...he walked with firm steps n put his arm around her..."main kab se dhoondh raha hoon tumhe"!!she smiled as she snuggled up to him..and replied"kuch nahi..ek couple tha..unki beti se khel rahi thi..DISHA..naam hai..do baras ki...but she s so cute...cant tell u..."dr ashutosh was trying to bring her indoors .."sweater kahaan hai...thand lag jaayegi..chalo"!!and she followed him..

As he asked"lunch kiya"??and she pouted"aapke bina?"and he sighed as he took her into the restaurant...and she sifted the menu to order a sizzler and ashutosh added a beg pulao ...as the sizzlwr arrived ..she laughed n said"dadi bua sizzler ko trian ki seeti kehti hain...kehti hain rail aa gayi"@!ashu laughed n added..."we must take her to a sizzler joint. .

Lets see kya hoga"!!and nidhi laughed as she dipped into her sizzler ...giving a bite to dr ashutosh...as he focussed on hus pulao..

"Ab kya ..."??as they walked back to the room...and nidhi said"change kar ke so jaate gain...aapko bhi sleep deficit hoga...phir shaam ko...walk...deodar ke neeche..what say"??and ashutosh just looked at her...lost in those deep eyes...in which he had observed a cheerful laughter...when playing with Disha...he had sensed nidhi's desire...almost becoming a craving...but then...and he closed his eyes...drawing her to him...a swet smile on her rosy poutin g lips...that he kissed lightly...

It was at about 5 that nidhi extricated herself from the strong arms of her husband and made tea in the kettle. .n freshened up...the sun was approaching the hills...she woke ashutosh..n handed him the tea...as he yawned...n looked outside...she took a sip as she wore her walking shoes...n ashutosh threw her coat around her shoulders..himself wearing his black jacket ..on his casuals...n they walked out..

The evening was about to set..the sun was coming down...but today they walked east wards under the thick branches of the deodars..where the evening was already dark..and the wind was rustling the needle leaves...as ashutosh held nidhi by the shoulders n showed her the darkness of the east horizon contrasted by the red hues of the west...and nidhi seemed lost...so much like life...some years..dark n desolate..n some so bright...and they walked around the lawn..ashutosh telling her about the conference ..n that he had ordered pasteies for all at night..from their side..nidhi giggled"black forest"??n he nodded"yess..black forest with loads of choco chips...jaisa tumhe pasand hai.."and she hugged him..as he said"chalo..lets walk up there...us shelter mei chai peeyenge"and as he requested a waiter..the two walked up to a lovely rain shelter of the hotel..from where the hotel looked even more majestic..

Nidhi sipped the tea..n then said"kal shopping jaaoongi...baba ke liye to shawl loongi...aur armaanji ka cigarette case...what to take something for dr mallika"???ashutosh turned serious n replied"nothing..."and nidhi asked why???a terse ashutosh replied"kyunki jo woh chaahti hai..usse kabhi mil nahi sakta..."!!

And then drawing nidhi closer the t walked down..

Just as they reached the reception...ashu saw a cab stop in the porch..and a disturbed ranga followed by an angry anji entered...and dr ashutosh looked at nidhi...

Ashu's protectiveness is so loving. He knows that his wife is not a kid 😉 but he wants to get assured that wherever she goes or do something, that must be to his prior knowledge. Beautiful sight for the breakfast and much loved doctors from the fraternity celebrating the most eligible bachelor getting hooked to a solitairre. Totally loved the scene ⭐️

Anji is not behaving like a newly wed at all. Her priorities are different but there must be a respect for the needs of a family and the expectations from a daughter in law. But equally did not understand ranga's attitude towards her and her needs. Even Anji now understands how Ashu has willingly given full freedom to Nidhi, with full care and full authority.

Mallika is definitely spoiling her life and routine, but is it in her hands ?? I do feel that her suffering all alone with no one to share her gloom, this way she will ruin herself more only. Her life is surrounded by Ashu's sweet memories with her and cursing the day Nidhi entered his life.

Nidhi's soul sees happiness in the luring play with a kid girl, and this is felt by Ashu how she desires for a child. A very cute scene and loved Ashu taking her inside despite of the feeling that she has just seen the sheer happiness. Disha -- the name seems like a symbol that Nidhi is finding a way to happiness with a child in her arms. Am i correct ??

The Sunset evening walk with hand in hands of such a protective hubby. Loved the serene beauty of this scene.❤️ Loved the charm of Ashni getting pastries with the tea to follow. The real love is always in the loving company that they are sharing.

Ashu's reply makes a true sense --- "kyunki jo woh chaahti hai..usse kabhi mil nahi sakta..."!!

Yes, Mallika's needs can never be filled. And he knows where to draw a line.

With Ranga and Anji disturbed and angry, i think this is the time Ashu will intervene and again try to make them understand the realities of life.

A warm hearted, well disposed, gracious husband can change your life forever. The love is not demonstrated or expressed, but felt. The real hero of Nidhi and meaning to her life. Whether is working, or giving her company at breakfast, or watching her from distance and feeling her inner soul and her desires to start a family. Ashu has always taken care of Nidhi's every emotion and every need, but he is so practical in some ways. Keeping himself away from talking of his jewel wife, he almost delivered nothing and kept his thoughts to himself. His way of approaching his life is different to the world, but the time he is with his wife, he becomes seductive, protective, and eloquent in one time. This is the quality mostly loved of him and adore him.👏

Nidhi has also taken the wifely presence in his life and given her full attention with his desires becoming foremost and uppermost. Her nature of loving his family with equal dues mentions how magnificent their love is, that creates them as AshNi.

In the contrast, the young couple -- Anji and Ranga are not coping with their marital life. The priorities are within themselves and spouse's wishes hardly matters to them. The mindset is such that now they have become a confused, irritated couple. I wish if AshNi can help them anyhow.

The Kgh is not the same these days for Mallika. Her work, her only solace can give her time to spend little life there, but her life as a whole is lonely and hard to live. Hope to see someone comes an takes her out from this aloof mansion. Not Ashu can give her what she wants, cos now he belongs to his world and his sunshine and that's only Nidhi!!!

It was an elegant evening with deodars and sunsetting and Ashu and Nidhi lost in the semi darkness of lifelike scenarios. The Hm period is always so relished and savoured. ❤️ This is the right time for them to acknowledge their life and feel the endearment.

Loved the magnificent chapter, and will be waiting to know how the hardstone can make the life of AnjiRanga full of love and life. I do hop that he can do miracle in their life as well.
