A story set in the 70s - cool! I can so relate to that eras thinking coz I m so backward for todas age 😛

Coming to ur chapter 1, I absolutely love the way u write.

It is such a beautiful and realistic portrayal of the (mental n psychological) class divide, esp. the way middle class family regarded high class families with a kind of spite n dint want to mix with them n considered their kids 'a bad influence' on their own children... everything is so relatable. I still remember i was in highschool in mid nineties, and there was this supposedly 'high class' gal in my class. After school, mothers who came up their kids wud whisper to each other, "Look there she goes.. you know she attends those kinda parties.. she wears those shoulder-less gowns and all..", "I know, my daughter wants to be friends with her but i told herr sternly to stay away from her.." etc.. etc.. Me n my mom laugh so much at such overheard barbs.."

sorry to bore you with my school memories but i mean what u have written is so realistic n relatable.

Haaye Uma, why did u make mallika ashu's sis in this?? why this kolavari Umaji? i love mallika as the other woman. but i guess a lot of readers wud be happy with this. But loved her snobbish characterization.

I loved rohan being nidhis bro though. he is too cute to be the 'other man' so to say.

so Ashu n his parents are a typical broadminded family.. loving all their characterizations so far..n they said yes already! cool.!!

the problem is entirely mine...Uma is a writer, she is free to portray anyone as anything..they are mere characters at the end of the day...Mallika na meri kuch hai ..aur na apki...but the image of Mallu as Ashu ki deewani is so fixed in my mind that I can't see her as his Maa-behen... ex lover..cheating GF..sab seh sakti hoon..but yeh rishta 😲🤣..I am off from here😆... apke thread me milte hai...hope you update soon...

Loved the 70's ambience. Beautifully expressed the inner thoughts of a girl, who is subjected to few and very few liberties. The friend, Anji is as her Idol to look modern and like Neetu singh, this looks so natural and vivid.

Loved the way she did the make up and then started thinking and comparing of her life with all others. The meeting or rather a look at Ashu was mesmerizing. Well written and viewed. ⭐️⭐️

Liked the way Ashu said why to waste time when all is up to the mark, for him 😳 Loved him saying that.❤️ And more lovable and adorable is how he asked about Nidhi's views, Much much appreciated.👏👏
