felt bad for the two..her lifeless eyes must have been the ultimate blow to his soul..physical features could still be ignored..but lifeless eyes..must have stabbed him hard..

you got that right. lifeless eyes esp of someone as lively as Nidhi used to be..would indeed be a stab in the heart for this guy.

according to my understanding..his holding her back by call of duty was not only driven by his selfish interests but also his concern for her..he wants his titli back to life..and subconsciously his mind has driven him towards that only..or rather his heart..
