As days grow longer
And the sun gets warmer,
The dreaded summer is here ,
When leaves will wilt
And rivers turn to beds of slit
Plants will shudder
Animals run for cover
The weak will perish
Is this the sun we cherish ?
But seasons change ,
The monsoon soon in range ,
The drops of rain ,
Will let us dance again
Birds will fly , jungles will hum
With insects and butterflies,
Flowers will flourish
Sadness to perish
As summer always gives way to autumn
So do strife and struggle
To peace and tranquillity
And our hearts will sigh with pleasure
And life will be the biggest treasure.
After the scorching heat ,
The cooling rain will always our life greet .
