But Ashutosh doesn't want to know the name yet!! In a way I guess I can understand. He thinks Nidhi won't come back. He has lost hope and doesn't care who his mother saw and is talking about. It doesn't matter to him any more. Left to him he probably would prefer to be alone forever but...he needs to think about his family and parents too. Poor guy!!

Makes me wonder how he would react once he gets to know who the girl is!! Would he be happy that its Nidhi or would he back out because he doesn't want to risk his heart again??

if he had liked her, then he would have told her something about it while she told him about leaving...now if he has agreed to marry someone else... than may be after coming to know its her then may not agree also... some how this sequence was too confusing ...hope this gets clarified😳

He is scared to reveal his love, so was postponing it. He wanted to take it slowly and confess when he was ready to do that. Even when he knew she would leave he thought she was coming back. He never expected that she may decide not to. So suddenly he felt the loss, he now thinks she has gone... then Sam is gone, so he is very lonely and feeling low. When his mother insists for marriage he agrees to it, he has basically agreed to an arranged marriage, that's all. It does not mean he will marry anyone without looking at them...
