am an Apple tree...

I dont remember how I have started my life... But vividly remember the days when I was a little plant...I was on a road side... I dint belong to anybody...I was an orphan..

I remember those hot sunny days... My early leaves dried due to lack of care and nourishment... Literally begged every passer-by for water... I was so thirsty... I still remember the struggle I made in the winters not to wither... This struggle taught me to suck up the moist from the snow in the hard way!!... I have learnt to use only two of my roots out of five to stay strong...terrible cold breeze... bent the head against... Oh! that was painful on my tender stem... But, fine..by bending I have not broken my back.. Ugly fight for the sustenance...

I have seen my brother apple plants in the neighboring house yards...They were pretty... Plants of my age are very strong... Gleaming green leaves they wear!! They dont wither..They never bend... Their masters give them water, food.. Cool, green shades are provided on sunny days... The strong brick walls are protecting them from the breeze... God!! What I have done!!! How long can I survive like this!!!

That day I remember ... there were mad dogs...running towards me...I got so scared...about to be trampled ...a good Samaritan was coming along the road... He saw me.. took pity on me... He gave me water and arranged a stone wall around me... everyday he came to me and took care of me till I was self sufficient...

I knew I am indebted to this new father of me... but at the same time, I knew I dont belong to anybody and alone... I have concentrated on myself and took care to grow up to be a healthy apple tree... Now, everyone likes me.. I happily give my fruit to all and especially to the hungry children.. I like them when they come and play with my leaves and climb on my branches... No more threatening cold breeze !!... Now my leaves play violin tunes while nodding their heads to the breeze...

Oh! What is there? Who is that?? a small little one... I called out... It just turned its head away... I know that look of those leaves... it is hungry... I recognise the struggle those bare little roots making to suck the water in a big way!!! Bending too low to avoid getting trampled by the dogs or the severe wind... Making bold efforts not to wither in the winter cold... Oh!! Little one!! I know your survival techniques , though you pretend to have a big mouth!! You are covering your shiver under the naughty rustling of the leaves...

No dear!! this is a big fight for you... I will protect you... I will give you shade... I will bend my branches and wall you against the ruffians... you dont need to age before your time..You have every right to be a small, young and healthier one!!! You are my 'Khushi'.

I remember this post Mudraji. 😃 Was posted originally almost a year a back. Liked it then and liked it today too.

Nice, thought-provoking post. 👏👏👏 Compelling the reader to delve deep into Ashu's psyche - his underprivileged childhood as orphan made him over-protective towards Khushi. May be somewhere was lying the sense of moral responsibility towards the society to repay the debt out of his gratitude for BB. This angle wasnt explored in the show but Ashu was indebted to the good samaritan BB for picking him up from streets and fostering him like his own son; making him country's best neurosurgeon and a great human being. All that he wished to do for Khushi too -- Very natural for a honest and thorough gentleman like Ashu and very understable for us too... But alas... Khshi wasnt portrayed to be worthy enough to receive all such love and care... Biggest disappointment came there only. Just a 10 year old girl lying and stealing money, behaving so insolent and scheming against the lady of the house -- who went out of the way to keep her(khushi) with them and give her a secured future -- to the extent to gravely injure her in order to teach her a lesson just because she caught her(khushi) stealing... 😡 However much, try I might, but cannot accept this thankless and loudmouth "child" if at all her behavior could be called that of a child's.

hats off to ur creativity Mudra

👏Love the way u brought forward the life Ashu using an Apple tree 👏
while i was reading ur post i feel how difficult would be a child to born as orphan,😭
but the fate of him or her can change the life with in a second 😳
How Ashu met BABA how he loves him how he gain the success in his life
at last how Ashu met Kushi , it's brilliant concept Mudra 👍🏼

can fate change our life ?

Mudra, I remember this one so well. What an analogy? Hats off for that thought 👏
Really what a perspective into the mind of Ashu! What he must have felt seeing Khushi, an orphan like him and wanting to do to her what his benevolent caretaker (Baba) did for him. 😃 Had the show looked at things with this POV, Khushi would have turned out very different!

Thank you very much Tupu. very detailed review! I am very well honoured.. as I have seen people giving detailed reviews for the FFs. but my simple post too got one like that.😳😃👏👏

Khushi mirrored Ashu. (Atleast he thought so!).. May be all these traits of Khushi might have appeared to Ashu, as the techniques for survival. Street children learn these techniques very early unfortunately... as they have no one to tell what is right and what is wrong... Khushi had no sphere of reference about, how to respect elders.. All that she got was devilish mama and mami.. so no wonder childr picked up those things. We can hate Mallika... she has done unspeakable things though she had very decent upbringing... but same thing may not refer to Khushi.

Any way, I wrote something (rough drafts) about the world through child's eyes... then I remembered this. So posted as a pilot post to that.😃

Thank you once again. 😃

Thank you Aarti.😃

I think, had khushi stayed for few more days, she would have turned slowly. But anyway... that story was AshNi's.. I think that was the reason why they have cut short Khushi and her wellbeing.
I will post next part in two days.😃
