Mudra a very thought provoking post. You have delved into Ashu's mind - his orphaned childhood in abject poverty - lonesome and desolate. Yes he was indebted to Baba for all that he did, nurturing his childhood, educating him, helping him on the road to success which made him a top Neuro-surgeon and giving him wings to fly and soar high in the sky with his accomplishments. He was ever thankful to Baba for this and that must have worked in his mind to pick up Khushi from the streets, shelter her and giving her a good future. But I could not digest the fact that this little girl turned into such a scheming brat and turned hostile towards Nidhi who had not only put up with all her tantrums but had also bestowed so much love and care on her. Cannot forget how Ashu was also a puppet in Khushi's hands during those days and turned a blind eye to what Nidhi told him. Those were really nightmarish episodes which i cannot bear to watch again.

Nice, thought-provoking post. 👏👏👏 Compelling the reader to delve deep into Ashu's psyche - his underprivileged childhood as orphan made him over-protective towards Khushi. May be somewhere was lying the sense of moral responsibility towards the society to repay the debt out of his gratitude for BB. This angle wasnt explored in the show but Ashu was indebted to the good samaritan BB for picking him up from streets and fostering him like his own son; making him country's best neurosurgeon and a great human being. All that he wished to do for Khushi too -- Very natural for a honest and thorough gentleman like Ashu and very understable for us too... But alas... Khshi wasnt portrayed to be worthy enough to receive all such love and care... Biggest disappointment came there only. Just a 10 year old girl lying and stealing money, behaving so insolent and scheming against the lady of the house -- who went out of the way to keep her(khushi) with them and give her a secured future -- to the extent to gravely injure her in order to teach her a lesson just because she caught her(khushi) stealing... 😡 However much, try I might, but cannot accept this thankless and loudmouth "child" if at all her behavior could be called that of a child's.

I echo each and every word Tupu...ver well written 👏

Brilliant Mudra...only u cud come up with such a beautiful metaphor...a comparison drawn between a young deserted sapling n an orphan child.

Being unwanted, unloved, uncared for, forgotten by everybody, I think that is a much greater hunger, a much greater poverty than the person who has nothing to eat.
-Mother Teresa

It is not the physical pain that endangers orphans the most. It is the mental pain caused by stress from years and years of being neglected, pushed aside, disregarded, unloved, and made to feel undeserving, and in almost all cases, made to feel like a possession rather than an equal human being. Even more it is the lack ofunconditional love, the right to be accepted, as a child and to be loved, as a child, no matter what you do is the most wounding.

Outstanding⭐️
Waiting to read more😛

Thank you for reading and liking Veena.

Yes. the KTLK was AshNi story and we expected them to have nice understanding.
During this khushi's track, KPji said he would like to Ashu revisit his roots. So thought from Ashu's view. May be Ashu learned few things from this horrible childhood. I have written something else and thought I will post this as prologue.

Thank you once again.🤗
