Aiyyo!!! I didn't mean to chaalenge u guys...
Its just that I was putting myself in dat situation, n wud have felt like punching the previous writer, had I been given that end... But wat to do... M gonna mess around... I trust u guys will very ably be able to handle the next update... Chalo me trying to write..

Hello my dear friends. I have written Chapter-9... But not sure, how you guys are going to take it... I'm just hoping for the best...

Chapter-9

Anji was tossing and turning the bed. Sleep seems to fade away from her since long. Rohan who had been awake checking his e-mails about the proceedings of the custody case. Seeing her tossing and turning so much, finally gave up, switched his laptop off and came into the bed, laid down keeping his elbow on the bed and lying on his side, so he is able to look at Anji too...

Ro: Kya baat hai Anji, tum so kyu nahi rahi? Neend nahi aa rahi hai kya?

Anji finally turned to his side n looked straight into his eyes.

An: Hum kya kahin aur se apna bachha adopt nahi kar sakte Rohan?

Rohan's eye brow rose at the question

Ro: Kyu ab kya hua? Ab toh hum Wendy ko adopt kar rahe hain na... Ab toh wo Nidhi ki beti bhi nahi hai...

Anji sat up on the bed... And was visibly angry on the thought...

An: Rohan!!! Why don't you understand, Wendy is Jeeja ji's child-like... Unki bachhi jaisi hai wo...

Ro: So what? Aryan tumhare liye bhi tumhare bachhe jaisa hai...Phir bhi, you sacrificed him... Didn't you?

An: Aryan Nidhi ka apna beta hai... Paal-poskar bada kiya hai usne usko... Kyu degi wo apna bachha humein? And rahi Wendy ki baat, toh uske parents' ke jaane ke baad, Nidhi aur Jeejaji ne hee usko sambhala hai, paala hai... How bad they must be feeling at the proposal we gave them to adopt Wendy? Nidhi ka face dekhte na, toh pata chalta...

Ro: So was the same with Mr. Mathur... But Anji, they should understand the fact that, Unke dono haathon mein laddoo nahi ho sakte...

An: Dekho Rohan, humare liye toh Wendy ko adopt karna, kisi bhi normal bachhe ko adopt karne jaisa hai... And we can adopt from somewhere else too. But for Nidhi and Jeejaji, its like giving away Aryan. Rohan, why are we creating so many tensions for them? Let's adopt some other baby na...

Rohan was furious, and got out of the bed, staring at Anji...

Ro: Are you out of your mind Anji? She has taken away my son from me, I didn't say much. Let them feel the pain of losing one's child. Tab samajh aayega... isliye, you agree or not, we are adopting Wendy. That's full and final.

Rohan picked up the pillow from his side, and stormed to the couch and slept... Some silent tears escaped Anji's eyes. This was such a tight spot for her. Breaking her own sister's heart and decorating the same pieces of her broken heart in her house was such a painful task for her. But what to do? Her husband itself is the cause of it. After a few more tossing and turning, her tired brain took her to some rest, as she drifted into an uneasy nap.

It has been a week since Rohan and Anji had asked for Wendy... Right from the next day the baby was keeping ill due to some or the other reason... Ashni both seemed worried for her. How is she going to cope with the new environment, with such a health? And the most worrying factor is what if she kept on remaining sick. It will cost her health.

Both Ashutosh and Nidhi knew what they HAVE to do for the time being. Unsaid to each other, Aryan has to be sent to Rohan's house...

The poor boy was on verge of tears on hearing the decision by his parents, 2 weeks after they had given the thought on sending Aryan. He had almost revolted to his parents, and had finally been very quiet with settling himself in one corner of his room. No matter how much ever they tried to cheer him up, promised him n-number of times that they will make their meets be 3 days in a week. But nothing, simply nothing would raise neither his mood, nor his parents'...

The pain of losing the heart of her life started giving its effects on Nidhi too... she looked frail within the span of this one month that seemed not more than a torture for both of them. The weakness in her body was palpable to Ashutosh too... He entered in Aryan's room, where Nidhi sat alone, packing her son's belongings for his new home... Unrestricted tears were freely flowing from her eyes, holding each and every thing that belonged to Aryan, hugging them to her, to remember them for one last time. Ashutosh immediately came and sat next to her, giving her an arm hug, supporting her frail figure. As if on cue, Nidhi too lent on his shoulder and the tears from her eyes started soaking his shirt.

He had been consoling her, and when had received no response from her, he looked at his side to her face, and realised, that she has actually fainted crying her heart out. Ashutosh was extremely worried for her. What has she made to herself? He immediately laid her on the bed, and sprinkled some water... Making her drink some water, he took her hand in his...

Ashu: Nidhi, please meri baat samjho... Main bhi Aryan se utna hee pyar karta hoon, jitna ki tum... But, jaan, this is just to make our side in the court strong.

Look, the court hearings are some 3 months later. Till then Aryan would have to live there. But, because he wants to be back here, and has alredy tried living there but couldn't the court shall grant his custody to us...

Jaan bas, thoda sa sabr kar lo... I know, our child is going to suffer there, but, we are doing this just for his betterment, for the better of the future. Look, Wendy's health and her unwillingness wouldn't allow her to stay away from us, and Aryan, we are going to get back... nobody is going to take our children away from us. Thode waqt ke baad humara future bohoy hi pyaara hoga. Just have patience. And you and me both know, Anji and Rohan are not going to make Aryan live on the bed of thorns Nidhi. But obviously they are going to love him as we do... Bas thoda sa waqt?

Nidhi weakly nodded at Ashutosh in understanding. Ashutosh wiped her tears and politely asked-

Ashu: Nidhi, please apni haalat sudhaaro, what have you done to yourself. I think, get a check-up done. I think this is all cause of depression... Come on jaan, let's get the General Check-up done...

Ashutosh was driving a normal looking Aryan, explaining him all they had thought, on the promise, he would not share the news with anybody else. Being an understanding child, he agreed to his parents...

Nidhi and Ashutosh had lovingly hugged Aryan, and asked his to behave properly with Maasi and Rohan Uncle... Putting all his luggage in the hall, and making sure Rohan was comfortable, Ashni left for the hospital for their duties, as well as checking with the Doctor regarding Nidhi's health.

There at the Doctor's cabin, what Ashni heard, was beyond their imagination, beyond they had thought, shaking them to be stunned and happy at the same moment-

Doctor: Dr. Nidhi Mathur, the report says, you are pregnant... Congratulations!!!

And congratulations to you for the new twist 😆
