ASHNI's GRAND GESTURES OF LOVE - PART F
Romance is in the air when Ashni are around. Their sheer presence exuded romance, every look exchanged, every word uttered, every little gesture seemed to underline the love they shared. As they grew as a couple one could feel the growth in the depth of their relationship just by the way they cared for the other person before themselves. So lets take a walk down memory lane and look at some gestures that defined ASHNI Romance...SOME ICONIC DEEDS AND DIALOGS of Nidhi.
Lets continue with Nidhi and her praise of Ashu's character and his looks. Nidhi was first impressed by Ashu's character and only later she started keenly looking and appreciating his looks. As a man of very few words, Ashu was closed behind his tower, revealing very little and hiding a lot. So obviously he could not have talked his way into Nidhi's heart! 😉 But the curious thing was even an extremely introvert and shy man like Ashu opened up in Nidhi's company, even before they confessed their love. In fact right from the first meeting in his office she made him do things that he would otherwise not do or what he did was contrary to what he had done till then. So lets take a look at some of those words that warmed Ashu's heart and made that entry into his 'qila' that much more endearing.
LIST OF ICONIC DEEDS AND DIALOGS - NIDHI...CONTINUED
Nidhi's Words:
The naughty, happy-go-lucky Nidhi and the strict Ashu had a lot of run-ins when Nidhi joined KGH, but unknown to her at every meeting her words seemed to create an impression in Ashu's mind. Unknown to either of them her words seemed to penetrate that part of his heart and soul that he had closed off to others, even to Mallika.
The times she praised Ashu's character:
1. The first ever reference she made to Ashu's character was when she was embarrassed at being caught after that accident and it as clear that she was in shock and awe of Dr. Ashutosh, the renowned neuro-surgeon. She reiterated this to Anji when she could not avoid him in Mumbai conference...
2. After her first eventful day at work, she complained to CV that Dr. Ashutosh was a workaholic who seemed more robot than human. It was a simple reflection of Ashu who was locked up inside his ivory tower, Nidhi's first opinion of the man...
3. After getting wet in the rain, Nidhi witnesses Ashu's kindness to the chaiwala, for the first time she gets a rare glimpse of the man behind the facade and confesses that he was not 'Khadoos', infact was the opposite of that...
4. After the candle light chai date an excited Nidhi reports to Anji about Ashu and his acceptance of the rose. She wonderingly reveals that he played violin, concluding that he was indeed not 'Khadoos', but a revelation. And after the violin date she repeats this and says she felt the way Ashu played violin was divine...
5. In the picnic she dares him to wear the T-shirt and challenges him to sing. Much to the surprise of both he does them and even thanks her for helping him come out and enjoy for a little while...
6. When Ashu yelled at Nidhi, she tells Anji that for him his duty was above all relationships, he was always first a doctor. By now she had understood the work ethics of the man...
7. After Ashu defended Mandira, Nidhi tells Rohan that she was proud and confident that Ashu would face all the consequences of their relationship with her. She had faith in his commitment to their relationship...
8. Just before their engagement she wanted to know what he would do if he had to go to an emergency surgery knowing what his answer would be. And the same situation happened on their SR, the next day she reassured a guilty Ashu that she felt proud he was her husband whose foremost duty was saving lives...
9. During Ranji's wedding she met an old acquaintance who wondered if she was working after marriage and she confidently stated that she was lucky as Ashu was very much interested in her career...
10. On Diwali night Nidhi teased Ashu as being a closet flirt and wonders if he was always like this or if it was the effect of wedding on him...
11. When Ashu is selected to go to a conference, as a wife she feels proud of her husband's abilities and confidently states that he would scale new heights with his achievements...
12. After Nidhi is shot and the attacker nabbed, she tells Ashu she trusted her husband who was magnificent hero out to protect his love...
13. When Ashu is accused and asked to resign, Nidhi assures him that nothing bad can ever happen to someone as good as him, who saved lives and she would do everything to clear his name...
The times she praised Ashu's looks:
1. On her very first day at KGH she drew a caricature of Ashu with a prominent nose. Much later, she praises Ashu's nose saying it was so magnificent that it reminded her of Roman kings and even his eyes become soft when he looked at her with love...
2. After the confession she convinced him to buy a red T-shirt as he would look very smart in it. She was disappointed when he did not wear it but realized her happiness mattered a lot to him as he took pains to procure it...
3. When Mallika invited Ashni to dinner, she mocked their age gap by teasing about the disco incident. Nidhi defended by saying she realized what a wonderful personality Ashu was that girls flirted with him even at this age. Many months later she would to repeat this to Ahana when she recalled how she fell in love...
4. After Ranji's sangeet Nidhi stated she was proud of him for dancing so well and chides him for thinking he was too old to dance. She goes further on to state that he was better than the film superstars in looks and dancing...
5. During Diwali CV admires Ashu's looks to which Nidhi agrees and looks on proudly at her husband...
6. During the FS track, with all the fashion talk around him Ashu felt conscious of his age and looks. Seeing him exercising Nidhi teased him saying he did not look a day older than 40. But during the show Nidhi sees Ashu in the bathroom and is awed by his new. 'hot' physique...
So, with this I am concluding this discussion on Ashni's grand gestures. In this we have seen everything from their rain moments to their confessions to their love-filled words for each other...If I have missed any moments in this post, it is purely an oversight considering the time constraints under which I am posting this one...please pardon my negligence.
