First moments in the rain: What an unforgettable moment it was when a soaking wet Nidhi pulled a protesting Ashu out of the car. And much to his surprise he thoroughly enjoyed it! Earlier Nidhi's joy and child-like excitement caught Ashu's attention and later Ashu's total abandonment in the rain caught hers.. The rest as they say is history...
A scene which has stuck like glue in all our minds...Ashu staring at Nidhi who was totally enjoying the rain ' forgetting that her "sadu" boss was watching her...and Ashu unable to control himself and plunging in the rain with a child like emotion...then the first tea together...& Nidhi finally admitting to Ashu that he is no where near to being a "Sadu"...and we also got to see Mallika's jealousy growing strong...
Yes, the happy, carefree Nidhi definitely had a good, strong effect on Ashu and he forgot to be 'khadoos' And that awesome, witty convo when they are having tea, this was very sweet. 😳
Realization in the rain: It was yet another stormy night, in the midst of the tempest raging inside and out Ashu once more ventured into the rain when he realized his love for Nidhi, and she scooted back in as she realized the futility of her love (or so she thought that day!)...
Ashu's tears streaming down his face along with the rain water...and his heart admitting that he indeed is in love with the Titli
Yes, he was missing Nidhi so bad and the sudden rain just intensified those feelings and finally those tears washed in the rain as if a heavy weight was off his mind, as if admitting this fact has set him free. ❤️
Romancing in the rain: During a picnic that happened on Mallika's insistence, Ashni manage to squeeze a few moments to themselves and they once again get drenched in the sudden downpour. The first time they got wet in the rain after their marriage and they stole some romantic moments while Mallika burned with jealousy...
A very sweet scene...Ashu no longer uncomfortable in rain...despite his injured knee he was standing right behind Nidhi taking her in his arms...and who can forget the way he saved Nidhi from falling from the cliff and the famous words ' Pyaar pankh deta hain...All thanks to the rain...Let Mallika go to hell ' I was engrossed in Ashni...
Yes, the moment the rain came down, Ashni forgot all their troubles, Mallika, etc and simply shared the joy of being in the rain together... Ashu saving Nidhi is coming soon after this rain series is done... hang on. 😳
Last time in the Rain: In the evening on his birthday Ashu arranged a romantic date for two on a hill top, he set all the 43 roses he got on the table. And lo and behold there is a downpour of rain, the other witness to the Ashni love, as if even rain could not stay away on this special occasion...

Yes, if not for that baby talk in the end, this one was perfect. That sort of spoilt some of the effect... this was Ashu at his romantic best sweeping his lady love away.

Yes, agreed. But one of the most romantic and suggestive love sessions in the show. That was the problem with the show, CVs always forgot what they promised, especially when it came to Ashni!!
'Get well soon' Rose: After their wonderful candle-light tea gets interrupted by a jealous Mallika, Nidhi leaves but not before she gifts the rose she got for Ashu. And again Ashu surprises himself and stuns Mallika by accepting it from Nidhi's hands...
Nidhi's desperation was worth watching...she forgot everything in her anxiety to know how Ashu was...blaming herself for letting him get wet in the rain...Loved to see Mallika being snubbed when Ashu accepted the rose...Mallika's thunder face and Nidhi's joyous smile...yeh combination toh hum Ashni fans ke liye super delight hain...
Wasn't it, somehow one evening in the rain and Ashu became so important to her! 😛Even more than her Baba that she came back from the airport... Me too loved that look when Ashu takes the rose and looks at Mallika. Wished they had continued with this characterization of Ashu wrt to Mallika, the show would have been different. We would have had a protective Ashu from start, not someone who let Mallika do all those rotten things to Nidhi and ultimately dismissed her. Ashu should have been portrayed strong and that dismissal should never have happened! Sigh!!
You have not mentioned about the barsaat of roses that Nidhi gave Ashu on his bday ' probably you will be describing the same in ur next post...
