Cute post Soniji. 👍🏼 For me, fond memories of childhood mostly include summer breaks only when all the cousins used to come to stay with us and we used to have great fun 24X7. Reading summer-special editions of children's magazines, playing indoor games or watching cartoon video cassettes (woh time VCR ka tha) in the afternoon and playing badminton and other outdoor sports in the evening, eating mangoes, having ice candies, gola and icecream(especially havmor Raja-Raani cone😛), drinking "Rasna" orange sharbat directly from bottle- w/o adding water to it 😆 are cute memories now... Mom and Aunts would want us to drink Roohafza with milk and we would never like it. 😃 All other fun and masti like playing antakshari when we used to go to terrace to sleep, opening the freeze door and feeling "cool" air on us, 😆 sometimes when pedestal fan was put, we used to take turns to sing aaa... in the fan and hear the "robotic" voice🤣🤣🤣 My aunts used to give an earful irritated of the cacophonous sound that would generate. And lastly, mom used to make pickles, so eating that "kachchi kairi" had its own merriment!! Gosh... am 15-17 years back, down the memory lane... Miss all these days very badly some times... Bahot achchhi life thi woh... Such mein, "Na duniya ka gham tha na rishton ke bandhan, badi khoobsurat thi woh zindagani..." ❤️
