Well, this chapter is definitely a relief, a break from the heavy ones... so Ashu was forced to act upon his suspicions after Nidhi's outburst. I am glad he did not do further damage, coz he could have lost his Chulbuli altogether. And I am so glad did not getting intimate with her. He would have found a non-responsive partner in her after that low blow that he had hurled at her. Finally he has taken the initiative.

Its nice that he approached Anji and found out everything from her. I knew Nidhi's life had become miserable and my suspicion that she had some problems with her parents is also true. So she and her parents are on talking terms but I guess that closeness is missing even today. Nidhi has detached from them, especially her mother and it also seems that she has spent a lot of time with HK. That was also evident in your earlier chapters just by seeing his protectiveness towards her.

So, first anger, revenge and now its guilt. Seems as if Ashu did not drown in the guilt but has found enough courage to find ways to talk to Nidhi and get her to open up, react. Anji has made him realize that Nidhi or Yog did not have to confess. This could have been her secret for life. But Nidhi had taken the hard route and her act had simply removed all blame and focus from Ashu and had shifted to her... so she was single-handedly bearing the consequences. Wonder how much scandal Armaan had to bear, or was it only emotional turmoil for him? With this realization has come forgiveness and the acceptance of the truth that Nidhi's actions were thoughtless and impulsive but she had no ulterior motive. And that she has paid a very heavy price and is still continuing to do so...

Loved Ashu's self acknowledgement that he had been a brute to her and had basically treated her like a slave, someone who was not allowed to have her own desires or wishes and was forced to pander to each and every whim and fancy of his... and so very glad he wants to rectify ASAP. And he has also understood that he has to be gentle with Nidhi if he wanted her to talk it out. I think he suspects now that he is the only one who can help Nidhi... finally he is starting to see the Chulbuli hidden behind the facade. But I also feel that the Ashu-Anji talk instigated by Ashu will turn to be an ice-breaker in their relations as well. The fact that Ashu is trying to change himself for Nidhi's sake ought to find favor with Anji and maybe he will find in Anji a strong ally who will help him in bringing back Chulbuli... lets see.

Of course Nidhi is confused by this turn. She is suspicious too but feels elated to see Ashu getting involved in home matters, show concern for HK and her parents. ITs a start but she is unsure of how long this change will last or if it will last at all. Once again very poignant scene where Nidhi feels proud when she introduces Ashu as her husband, again accepting any crumbs that comes her way. So Ashu is slowly trying to spend time with Nidhi but at the same time he is vary of coming on too strong.. so he chooses the neutral topic of medicine...

Ashu's overtures towards Verma is also a good start, seems like he now has a new found appreciation and respect for his FIL. Considering that Ashu had run away, deserted the field and Nidhi was still holding the fort, per se. I do get the feeling that in a little bit after Nidhi feels comfortable around Ashu and stops behaving like a deer caught in the light he will suggest they have a big reception... Ashu already feels bad about his refusal for the big wedding especially after knowing the reason...

Will come back with a status report on the proceedings so far... will take some time to get that ready but too sleepy right now.l

you already have the answer in the story so far...she tells

"Armaan, I know that there are things in your life that you have not shared with me. And I will wait for the day when you can trust me enough to do that. No matter how long it takes, I will wait"
