I felt exactly the same it's as if ashu is in competition with Nidhi, what is he trying to prove even for the FS though he ultimately helped her , if you love some one you don't have to score browinie points over her , specially older men they cherish their much younger partners , but ashu wants to prove that he does not need Nidhi , then why the he'll did he marry her , really feel like giving him a kick on his backside or maybe CVs who treat women as if they are dumb idiots

This is just stretching too far...Where has Ashu even hinted that he does not need Nidhi? He just told her that see I can also manage without ur help...Does not any couple in real life also say this to each other???? Really surprised at the extreme interpretations of a normal dialogue...

Good post Shikha. Shikha mera ek Q hai. Humne Ashu ko KTLK me kitne baar maturely behave karte dekha hai? Nidhi bubbly hone ke bavjut bhi bahut mature hai, emergent circumstances main she behaves very bold, she is capable of taking decisions and she is very practical. She knows very well when to go by head and when by heart.

Yeah, Ashu's behaviour was very confusing in this episode. He wanted to surprise Nidhi & BB by reaching the hospital early morning but when he didnt see Nidhi+BB there, he got disappointed. We have always seen that whenever Ashu is frustrated/disappointed/tensed, he always takes all his pent up load of emotions on Nidhi -- he did exactly the same this time too. But, yes, it was very unfair of him to chide Nidhi in temple. 👎🏼 Ashu didnt like her act of brining BB to temple but her idea was not wrong at all - just like Ashu, she too wanted to see BB happy only.

Then Ashu asked her if she was coming to hospital, but hurt and disappointed Nidhi preferred to go home. Here, Ashu should have told her to come for 1 hour at least so that she can also enjoy BB's b'day party and cake cutting. But, the angry and egotist side of him didnt let him do that. 😲 If he had planned it as a surprise and that's why he didnt inform her of the party at KGH, then he should have known that if Nidhi doesnt come to hospital in time, she would miss his surprise party as well. Had Dr. Vincent not called and informed about the FAX of his opinion, Nidhi perhaps wouldnt have reached hospital that quick and would have surely missed BB's b'day celebration. Here, Ashu should have thought that how sad BB would have felt if he had not found Nidhi there in his b'day celebration. Ashu might be unhappy with Nidhi, but for BB AshNi both are apple of their eye. Ashu even didnt feed the cake to her... 😡 where in fact, being BB's granddaughter as well as DIL, she deserved that cake the most compared to anybody else.

Ashu telling Nidhi about he can manage without her also was a completely hollow dialogue...😲 But, since last year it was Nidhi who had managed the surprised b'day party all alone and very very nicely, this time, perhaps Ashu wanted to surprise Nidhi and BB both in the same manner. And, when his plan worked well, he was seeking appreciation from Nidhi. Last yr. after his b'day celebration on Hilltop also, he had asked Nidhi if he had passed her test and she had liked his plans or not. Ashuji is novice at these things and believes that Nidhi is expert in all such arrangements hence he always wants a certificate kinda words of appreciation from Nidhi.😃
