Chapter 53: A rain of love!

"Sugar?" he called her suddenly breaking the dead silence of the car tht had engulfed it since thy had left his house. Nidhi was neither looking at him nor talking to him! Her eyes had been constant on the road tht looked to lag behind from the speeding car! She stirred a bit, indicating tht she had been out of her reverie! "Luv.. I cannot bear!" he cried out emotionally! Nidhi turned to him at his distressed voice! This man loved her so much! She stared at him for a while with silent unexpressed luv and thn some tears came to wet her eyes! Ashutosh parked the car at the side of the road and stretched his hands to wipe of her trickling tears! She caught his hand and cried over it! "Luv.. please!" he cried impatiently! "Its..its not u, its..its me!"she cried thru her tears! He unbuckled himself to cup her face and he gently wiped off her tears caressing her cheeks with his thumbs,"tell me!" She had never looked so frighteningly and guiltly cute! "tell me…wat did u do tht is so distressing to u?" she averted her eyes and replied in low ashamed voice,"u know!" He chuckled. "And I thot tht was the most beautiful thng u ever did!" Nidhi gaped at him! Was he even serious! Her wanton behavior was the most beautiful thing? Huh! Her frown revealed her annoyance! He chuckled. "sweetheart… trust me!" oh she was feeling terrible abt it all. As tht euphoria gradually subsided, it all came to her slowly! Thr was not a hint of guilt or shame of any wrongdoing in his voice! He was appreciating it instead! Oh! How cud he? "Bt it was wrong.. !" she cried vehemently,"it was all soo sooo very wrong!" Nidhi felt retracted back fearfully bt thn with sudden rebelliously determined face, she gritted her teeth stubbornly and flared her nostrils angrily. She suddenly lunged forward onto him to hit him back fiercely! He was saved from her blows jst by an inch by her restraining seatbelt! "Whoa!" He cried back. He was completely taken aback and astounded at her sudden attack! "wat r u doing!"he cried! This time, she was all ready to unbuckle herself to show him exactly wat she was! He caught her hands jst in time! "r u seriously out of ur mind!" he cried back! "how dare u threaten me like tht!"she still sounded so furious and her hands struggled to get free and impart some heavy blows to him. He seriously cudnt stop himself laughing hard! "oh! It spread a complete darkness in and around thm as thr wer no brightly illuminating streetlights and the tree nearby provided enuf shield from it anyways. At tht hour of almost midnight, the cars wer hard to come by on tht road, almost none. "now wat wer u saying?" he said silkily getting dangerously close to her lips. Nidhi coiled back with shyness bt he pulled her forward and into him as he captured her lips with a claim of an owner! His kiss was silky, mischieviously playful, and extremely naughty! The motif of small red roses and brown petals against the backdrop of white sheet gave it almost a look of beautiful wedding bed! Roses! He sighed. It was empty, lonely and as craving for a company as he was! He paced restlessly in the room. He had a sudden strong keen urge to see her! She was jst a hall away and he jst cudnt resist.

He picked up his phone and called her pronto! Without a second of delay, it was picked up and a same sort of breathless restless voice was heard from the other end! Oh it was a sheer delight coz she enjoyed it so much! All their agitated nerves had calmed down and the restlessness in their heart had been replaced by this delightful playful thng! Who wud have known tht a time wud come wen The Dr. Ashutosh wud sneak into the bedroom of his sweetheart and dance on some romantic tunes! The moon smiled at thm from faraway sky, promising to return on a more appropriate day to make things betn thm more romantic and cuddly!

In the morning, a loud knock at her door rudely awakened Nidhi! "nidhi bibiji.. nidhi bibiji.. Dadi bua is calling.. its time to go to temple.. nidhi bibiji…" Nidhi stretched her arms lazily and muttered in her sleep,"I m coming chote sarkar.. tell Dadi bua I will b ready in 10 minutes..!" tht was her daily dialogue tht relayed every day before she slumped back to sleep! Bt today she met with a softly soundly and rhythmically beating heart instead of her soft cuddly pillow! She bolted upright at once and stared at a handsomely looking face, which was sleeping peacefully on her bed! On her bed? Oh my God!! She panicked and rocked to wake him up. "oh..wake up..luv..please!"she cried and threw the earphone from their ears and again shook him up violently. "eh.. Luv.." he muttered in his sleep. For a moment, she forgot wat she was doing! A delightful smile crept up on her lips realzing tht he had recognized her touch even in his sleep.. or better..he mite b dreaming abt her! She blushed and leaned over his cheeks to impart a loving kiss. He stirred and threw open his eyes at her soft touch! "Luv.." escaped his lips again softly as he focused his eyes on her and smiled. He sat up and leaned forward to peck on her lips bt was jerked out of his romantic state by dadi bua's shrill voice! "Nidhi.. baccha.. wat r u doing.. open up the door this minute.. v r extremely late today!.. wake up baccha!" she rammed at the door! Ashutosh stared at the door and thn back at nidhi's fear-stricken face! He cupped her quickly and pecked her lips nevertheless. "Tell her.. u r in bathroom and to wait for 15 minutes… I will jump from the window" he wisphered to her, promptly jumping from the bed. She did as she was told and tht quietened down dadi bua! Tho thy cud hear her grumbling voice! Ashutosh stepped back from the window! "Wat?" Nidhi asked. "uh.. red flag!" he cried and moved back to bed to think! "oh! wat wud v do now?"she cried. he shrugged,"I have bt one choice, to go from the door!" Nidhi bit off her nails in worry! "Oh luv.." he cried back.."previous idea?" he hinted at the idea thy had applied earlier on her baba in exactly the same situation! Nidhi shrugged "no choice! Okay.. I will b ready in a minute and see if the coast is clear and thn u can dash out!" she muttered while running into the restroom Oh god please save us.this one last time please.. promise not to do any such naughty thing.. ever..ever... puhlease! She threw one glance up above the heaven and stepped in!

She came back in 5 minutes and found Ashutosh lying on her bed with his knees dangling below. She yanked him up! Ashutosh was amused to find her draped in towel over a blouse and petticoat. "Wats this..?" he chuckled. "oh.. jst shut up and stand in tht corner.." and she pushed him into a corner and forced him to stay thr till she wore her saree. He was so amused and he chuckled silently. So practically he was in a room with her wen she was draping up a saree! He received a sharp nudge tho as Nidhi glared at him for his obvious meaningful chuckle! He forgot to chuckle as he stared at a fresh-like-a-morning-flower Nidhi! She smelt so good and she looked so delicately.. subtely beautiful! Her skin still seemed wet and pure! He leaned to kiss. She pushed him away. "u r jst going to get caught and u r seeking romance here!" she chided in whispher! He pulled her nevertheless and kissed grabbing her cheeks. "I luv tht!" he wisphered and followed her to the door. Nidhi opened the door and checked for caution. She took a few tentative steps forward and glanced towards the kitchen and thn towards the puja room and saw something like saree and immediately signaled Ashutosh to run out! He obeyed and was jst abt to dash out of the main door when it opened and he collided with Col. Verma who had been jst back from his morning jog! They scuffled and Col. Verma's squeal brot Dadi bua out of the puja room! She glanced at Nidhi and thn at Ashutosh and Col. Verma. "y r u squealing like a pig in early morning hours Yog!" Dadi bua sounded miffed. "eh.. ur wud-b-son-in-law almost ran over me!" Nidhi's baba bit back. Ashutosh almost had sweat on his forehead. "eh.. I was jst going for a morning walk!" "u don't need to start from the door!" col. Verma chided. Ashutosh apologized bt dadi bua caught him with her appropriate question. "Wer wer u.. I knocked on ur door so many times.. u didn't answer!" Knocked at my door.. y? Ashutosh stared at her and thn at Nidhi! Nidhi ran to her Dadi bua.. "oh Dadi bua.. y u wanted to disturb Ashutoshji early in the morning.. he mst've been in bathroom like me.. how wud he answer from the bathroom to u? oh u r embarrassing him.. u r so impatient!" she rebuked her instead. Dadi bua felt embarrassed. "Eh I jst wanted to ask if he wud like to come to temple with us.. any ways wer r late.. so it wont matter if he joins us too!" Ashutosh intantly nodded a No bt Col. Verma intervened. "R u sure.. buaji.. I mean.. ur friends wud b thr.. how wud u introduce Ashutosh?.. I mean v haven't yet formally announced thr match!" "so wat! Its jst matter of time before we do tht.. and its not as if v have nothing at hand.. v've accepted him as our formal son-in-law.. and y shudnt b I feel proud in introducing such handsome and healthy son-in-law.. he is quite young-looking for his age.. if only…" her eyes narrowed at his grey hairs above the ears,"he cud dye those greys!" she completed. "Dadi bua!" Nidhi shrieked! Ignoring her, dadi bua called chote sarkar to enquire if thrs any dye at home! As apparently no one used dye in tht household, he suggested tht their neighbors sharmaji mite have it! He was promptly run at their house to borrow one! Ashutosh was horrified at all this bt it happened so fast tht no one had even chance to retort! "dadi bua..wat r u doing!" nidhi cried helplessly fearing Ashutosh mite feel offended! Hair color is even in fashion these days.. its not jst old ppl who color anymore.. and thn y shudnt u not flaunt ur such youthfulness hmm.. after all u r so handsome.. with Nidhi by ur side, u will look a perfect couple he he he..!" she answered and went to the kitchen to bring some tea and snacks not staying back to even wait for Ashutosh's reply. Her priority was to attend to her to b son-in-law well!

Ashutosh almost exasperated as he furiously applied the dye on his hair! Nidhi had twice come in to check on him and he had to control himself hard to not bang the restroom door! He surely wudnt want to look ill-mannered at his in-laws house! He replied gruffly to Nidhi's sweet chuckle wen she "oohed" at his looks and commented tht the oldies wer going to approve him at the drop of the hat! He looked tht handsome, she had winked. He had rolled his eyes!

As thy drove to the temple, Ashutosh feared wat was in store with Dadi bua! Was this jst a tip of tht iceberg? He shuddered. The two days at Nidhi's house wud give him a good look at Nidhi's day-to-day life, he had thot. So, it was an opportunity tht he had grabbed at with both hands! He was clever enuf to bring out those exact words from the mouth of dadi bua herself! She cudnt not let her to-b-son in law stay in some staff room quarters wen thr was thr house! And tho Nidhi had suggested to let Armaan-Trupti stay at their nana's house for their mini sort of honeymoon period, the idea had been rejected for mainly two reasons. He was reluctant, as he had planned to spend their at least one nite thr aftr mrg to make those memories on tht couch! If anything, he wanted thm to b first one to make those memories in tht house! The wall thy had painted and Nidhi's wish to put up a bed thr. Well, he cudnt let tht day-long hardwork go waste! And secondly, it being comparatively in a remote area, Dadi bua and col. Verma hadn't liked the idea of letting a newly wed bride b harassed as the kitchen wasn't fully set up thr. All in all, it had been in his favor. Bt this was something! Tackling dadi bua seemed to b a more tuff task thn it had been with Col. Verma! He sighed and drove off silently.

At 8 a.m., he rushed to the hospital. He had replanned his schedule to b able to get free by 8 to reach home early to Nidhi! He was going to make full use of those 2 days! Only emergencies wud b attended and he had delegated most of his late evening work to Mallika and other senior doctors under him! He had plans tht day to talk to Nidhi's NGO regarding this orphan ward. And thn he had had a talk with Mallika regarding Nidhi's transfer and she was willing to take back her earlier complaint, so she was going to submit a referal letter of Nidhi's transfer today. Thy wer looking to expedite her transfer orders. Owing to shortage of staff here compared to increasing patient inflow with the new marketing strategy tht the new management had adopted, thy shudnt b having any problems as such. The only issue was regarding tht disciplinary action bt Dr. Mallika's letter shud help, thy wer positive. And lastly, he had a conference call with his research partner to work on a new international research paper! All in all it was going to keep him very busy! Tht week he had exchanged his Jeevan Sandhya duties with Dr. Kothari!

The clock struck 8 p.m. wen he left his cabin. Wen he reached home Nidhi hadnt arrived yet! He sighed and relaxed in the porch when Armaan-Trupti arrived. Thy wer instructed to have dinner thr for thr rest of thr stay thr by Dadi bua. The two friends sat and chatted. Trupti had been an instant hit with dadi bua the moment she had stepped into tht house. After all she was perfect example of a perfect bahu! Sober, well mannerd, well educated, good looking, mature, and very traditional jst wat dadi bua wanted her Nidhi to b! It was a tall figure to match, Trupti had 42 yrs behind her to mould her into wat she is, Nidhi was jst 24.. jst stepping into a new life.. and Ashutosh was really worried abt Dadi Bua's stance for Nidhi. He had learnt from Kaka tht Nidhi was to make lunch every morning before going to hospital and prepare a tiffin for herself! Chote sarkar or kaka wernt to help her. Wen kaka intervened tht he wud b always thr to help her out, DB questioned as to wat if he got sick or had to go to his village for longer days for some reason. Her household wud fall apart thn with a demanding job and a demanding household if not husband, she wudnt b able to cope up, hence this harsh training for her! Ashutosh was finding it hard to see Nidhi struggling so much for a trivial thing as managing a household, which in his viewpoint cud b delegated easily to worthy domestic workers! India surely had no problem getting cheap domestic helpers! And thn the technology had progressed so well! He cud surely buy some of those appliances! Bt Dadi bua was insistent tht Nidhi learnt everything very traditional way! His talk to dadi bua was futile! Armaan advised him to take this matter patiently and not to act on his impulsive anger. Dadi bua mite have her POV and it wud take time to chng her strong conservative beliefs!

Ashutosh sighed and looked at his watch again. It was almost 9 and thr was no sign of Nidhi. She hadn't even returned his calls! She had taken his advice to take her internship seriously very seriously! Running out of patience, he almost got up from his chair to fetch her wen she appeared at the doorstep, tired and exhausted! Dadi bua greeted her with motherly warmth. She smiled back tiredly at thm and resigned to her bedroom to get fresh. On the dinner table, she ate very less and dadi bua fussed over it, while Ashutosh looked crossly at her dadi bua! Col. Verma observed it and after Trupti-Armaan left, thy went up to terrace for some chat, while Nidhi slumped in her bed right away after dinner, tho dadi bua chided after her for overworking herself and not taking proper training in house management! A woman had responsibilities beyond time, her old thots said! Her priority was to manage her home first, however late it got or watever early hour she had to rise!

"wats the matter Ashutosh?" Col. Verma asked as thy sat on the chairs of terrace. It seemed quite peaceful tho the passing by noise from traffic did irritate Ashutosh a bit or was it jst his bad irked mood! He sighed and looked at his hands! He remembered how he wud sit and discuss his issues with his baba, bt mostly thy wer confined to professional matters! He was a best guide at tht! He looked at Col. Verma and replied softly,"Papa do u think Nidhi is doing the rite thing? I m starting to feel tht I proposed too early!" "Thr thr my boy, u already sounded defeated.. I thot u wer a stout soldier!" Ashutosh laughed ruefully,"I am.. bt a soldier essentially doesn't have to deal with a bitter-sweet commander.. its mostly bitter..and tht he can handle pretty well.. the problem here is with the sweet part..it makes things complicated!" col. Verma laughed at his joke! "u r talking in riddles my boy!" "I m talking abt dadi bua.. please do not get me wrong!" Col. Verma sighed,"u think she is wrong?" "I cannot understand her impositions on Nidhi to become an excellent homemaker!" "Arent u imposing on Nidhi to become an excellent doctor!" "bt its her dream!" "u r mistaken thr.. it was her mom's dream!" "bt it is wat is her dream.. to fulfill her mom's dream!" "No.. Ashutosh.. I made the same mistake.. I tried to control and dictate her life.. bt she is rebellion.. she cant b controlled. She will carve her own way out! She is a stubborn river who choses her own path Ashutosh..v can jst bt guide!" Ashutosh looked at him and sighed. Col. Verma added,"Its not as if I didn't talk her out of this, bt she is so adamant abt learning all tht and as per dadi bua's wishes!" Ashutosh sighed again. "Ashutosh give her some time.. she will learn her own way! She is mature enuf to think abt herself.. v shud stop worrying abt her now!" Ashutosh reluctantly nodded a yes and thy rested tht subject thr and talked randomly abt other stuff, mostly abt col. Verma's past army anecdotes and his frship with Mr. Solanki! Ashutosh took this opportunity to talk abt Angie's problem. Col. Verma was both surprised and impressed tht Angie chose to confide in him and seek proper guidance! And from him, He learnt abt Mr. Solanki's adamant refusal and how Angie had been adamant on her stance too and Shyama aunty had to act as referee! Angie had been counting on him to work out a feasible solution and had called him up in the day to enquire and he had shared tht he intended to talk to Col. Verma while he was thr and had plans to sort out this matter before he left Verma house! Angie had felt satisfied and was looking forward to their meeting with her dad! After a brief discussion thy came up with a pretty decent solution tht shud work for both the daughter and the father. Thy decided to plan a meeting with Solankis tomorrow evening.

It wasn't till 10 tht thy came downstairs and Col. Verma resigned to his room asking Dadi bua, who was sleeping on the dining table waiting for thm to do the same. Dadi bua offered him his glass of milk and retired tiredly. He cudnt understand y Dadi bua had to stay awake for him for jst a glass of milk wen thr wer kaka and chote sarkar in the household! He sighed and looked at Nidhi's bedroom and reluctantly retired to his room.

He surely cudnt sleep! He paced heavily in his room for a while and thn sat on his laptop to work on his research paper. At abt midnite, he heard some noise from the kitchen. He cautiously made his way out into the kitchen and was astonished to find nobody thr tho the lights wer thrown on! And thn suddenly Nidhi appeared from under one of the opened cabinets wher she had been crouching and searching for something! "Nidhi?"he cried. Nidhi was startled at his sudden voice and she jumped back alarmingly and the packet of Maggie flew from her hands and it landed successfully in his hands! He looked at the Maggie and thn at her. "u r eating Maggie in the middle of the nite?" "I m feeling hungry!" "thn y didn't u have enuf food at the dinner table!" "I wasn't feeling very hungry thn! I was very tired to even move a spoon to my mouth!" he came closer,"u shud have told me.. I wud've fed u!" he said silkly. "Eh.. Dadi bua!" she yelled in low voice and her eyes bulging at a certain point behind him! Frightened, he turned around, to find no one. She laughed hard! "u know u r going to pay for this!"he cried. "hardly!..u know i think this is MY house!" "really.. u wanna challenge me?" "huh.. this time I m not going to save u if u r found in my room!" "No for a change u will b found in mine!" "Wat!" "u heard me rite!" "huh.. u r jst teasing me!" She stirred a spoon in her maggie which was almost abt to b done! She scooped it up neatly in a bowl. When she jst abt finished with her soiled pan and cleared the kitchen top and turned to pick up her bowl of hot steaming maggie, she realized it was gone! And gone was Ashutosh too! "huh!" she ran up into his room! He cuddled her up from behind and closed the door! She gasped,"r u out of ur mind! If I m not found thr in my room in the morning, v r so gone!" he eased her out of his hands and made her sit on his study table to eat her maggie! "V'll think abt tht in the morning.. u need to first fill ur empty stomach!" She smiled and took a spoonful of her maggie bt she didn't fill her mouth before feeding him the first morsel! "Sweetheart!" he had protested bt she was sweetly adamant! He watched her as she finished her Maggie and finally felt satiated! "I was sooo hungry!" she turned to stare at his face. He picked her hand and pulled her onto the bed with him! She wanted to protest and go away bt he laid a loving finger on her lips! He sweetly pecked her forehead and gathered her in his arms as thy lay thr silently on the bed. After a few silent moments with her held in his arms, he spoke softly,"I missed u so much Nidhi!" Bt his Nidhi didn't even stir. She was back in her sweet dreams! He snuggled her close and closed his eyes!

Nxt morning, to her surprise, Nidhi found herself in her own bed. How she got thr, she had no idea bt she had no time to think abt it as she hurried to ready herself to take her dadi bua to temple. She knew it wasn't necessary bt she wanted to spend as much time as possible with her dadi bua! It was only a month before she wud say this house, her baba, and her dadi bua a good bye!. For watever she had done for her all these years after her mom's death, she realized she had taken her for granted. She never realized till her mrg date was fixed how little time she had spent with her! she wud b more thn satisfied if she was able to bring even a little delight on her face and hence this morning routine! She wud wake up early with her. Help her prepare bfast. The menu thy wud decide the nite before and she wud get everything ready for the nxt day. Thy wud visit the temple and as soon as thy returned, she wud rush into the kitchen to make lunch and prepare her tiffin. Today she had to prepare two tiffins one for herself and the other for Ashutosh. And she chuckled imagining the look on his face seeing a tiffin box for him! It wasn't as if she was very good at cooking. All tht Dadi bua had tried to teach her all these years tht passed by, she hadn't taken it very seriously, like any girl wud do, till of course, this whole mrg thing came up and she suddenly felt a need to b responsible and dutiful! She knew how orderly Ashutosh's life had been! And she wanted to jst gel in tht routine without disturbing it much or compromising her career and for tht she needed to toil hard for these 3 weeks and learn everything as much as she cud, so tht she can custom-create her own daily routine to suit thr needs and manage everything with ease. Her world aftr mrg shud remain as blissful as it was today! And in the last two weeks, dadi bua wasn't going to let her do any sort of work and if she cud, she wud even refrain her from going to the hospital! A bride shudnt b so stressed out rite before her mrg, she opined. She was really of old thots bt she luved and cared for her so much. And she was grateful tht she was giving her this crash course. Normally and as Angie wud prefer, girls searched on internet for guidance and tips bt wen she had such trainer at hand to train her personally thn wer was the need for internet! She hoped tht it all turned out smoothly! Relations betn dadi bua and Ashutosh had highly improved and her dadi bua had taken such fancy of Ashutosh. She had even made him dye his head! She wanted to know wat wer Armaan's reaction to tht! Oh! she missed talking to him, and Trupti, and Angie and Rohan.. and even her baba.. and mostly and most importantly Ashutosh! This 3 weeks wer going to pass in a real blur. Bt it wer jst 3 weeks tht she wud have to endure and thn she can steer her life as she wished and accordingly she wished! Tho Ashutosh had asked to not to go for dance classes bt she cudnt do tht. Thy so much counted on her and her absence wud surely affect the spirits of the kids and it was going to b a long time! 6 months of internship and thn 2 yrs of MD! She sighed. She cant stay away from those kids. Nor cud she stop herself from going to Jeevan Sandhya and attending to those old ill people! Thr was no one in this world for thm. Wat wud it take to bring a little smile on thr face every day..a little time of hers! Thr smile and genuine affection on seeing her really melted her heart. She wud forget all abt her tiredness wen she was with thm, bt as soon as she saw her house and her bed, all her tiredness wud rush upon her and she jst felt like slumping into bed without even eating or changing! Heeding to Ashutosh's advice, she had been putting extra effort on her internship! Bt he was rite, if she wanted any real exposure, she needed to join back KGH and Ashutosh had told her tht her papers were forwarded for management's approval and thy wud b deciding on it soon enuf! She sighed as she filled the two tiffin boxes with food! The only thing she didn't like in all these arrangement was wearing a saree! Bt dadi bua so wanted her to see her in saree and she jst cudnt deny! Come Sunday and she wud know how it feels like doing household chores in a saree! Oh! she jst stalled her thots of worry on tht for Sunday! She had enuf things to worry abt for now! The latest one was how to convince Ashutosh to take a tiffin to hospital! A lot of eyes wud grew round with suspicion. Tho thy had a bit idea abt him and her, bt this wud b like a solid proof to boast around the hospital! She chuckled and placed it on the dining table and went to call Ashutosh for a drop off at her hospital. Ashutosh had insisted tht morning at breakfast table tht he wud drop and pick her up from the hospital while he was thr! He had been busy tht morning on his laptop and hadn't had accompanied thm to the temple! She was a bit miffed at tht! Those wer the few chances tht thy cud steal to stay with each other for at least these two days! The upcoming days, she wasn't sure if thy wud even have time to meet!

She knocked at his door and his eyes beamed merrily as his eyes scanned down her length. She blushed and played with her hair! "Beeaaauuutiful!" he complimented. "Mr. Ashutosh.. get up and get going.. aren't u getting late for ur hospital.. aren't thr any emergencies today?" she asked, playfully taking his fingers off of the keyboard of the laptop! He held her fingers! "Sweetheart.. its this new international research paper tht I have jst taken up..its abt a new surgical approach on those rare tumors of the brain. A patient has enrolled for tht rare kind of surgery at KGH this month. We r going to rite and present a paper on tht!" "Oh grt.. thts really grt!" "And hopefully by tht time u will b back at KGH and I can take u as my assistant! I m at liberty to pick any willing intern!" "err.. we will see..!" she jst replied. She wasn't sure how she was going to take out time from her busy schedule for him! "I have made tiffin for u!" "wat? Y?" "wat do u mean by y? I wud b making tiffin for u aftr mrg!" She turned towards him and ran her fingers thru his darkened hair! "somethings u need to understand Dr. Ashutosh!" She cudnt help appreciate the years tht tht dye had cut out from his age! "U luk..so young and so handsome!" she said dreamily her hand ran on to his sleek shaven jaw, tho she liked it rough and pricking! His eyes gleamed and he suddenly grabbed her and pulled her behind the door! He inched closer to her lips bt she retracted. He grunted and took her lips! Dadi bua's voice was heard thm calling and wen it didn't get any reply, it neared to his room! Nidhi struggled helplessly, bt he wasn't finished yet. Her heart flapped as her foot steps neared and thy wer jst seconds away from being caught when he released her suddenly and assumed his position back on his study table against his laptop! Nidhi stood dazed and confused behind the door wen dadi bua entered and thankfully didn't notice her. "Daactaar .. wer is Nidhi!" "err.. Nidhi?" His eyes darted towards her behind the door. Nidhi sprang onto its doorway,"eh dadi bua I m here.. I was jst coming to call Ashutoshji!" she glared at him from behind dadi bua! "oh I searched the whole house..u wernt to be found.. I jst came to ask daactar if he cud come early today." She turned to him,"Nxt week its Nidhi's mom's birthday and v do a little puja and all our relatives gather here. We normally plan the usual way bt as u know this is Nidhi's last puja here in this house and ur first with her.. so it has to b special. So v will all sit down and plan something different this time! Is it all rite with u?" she asked expectantly. "yes.. dadi bua.. I cant promise bt I wud try!" "Oh thts enuf for me.. now hurry up.. u don't want to b late to reach hospital and create and excuse to come home late he he he!" with tht she left. And Nidhi and Ashutosh followed her out silently!

In the car she kept silent. "u miss ur mom?" he asked gently. She had tears in her eyes,"now its all coming to me slowly.. its jst 5 weeks left for me in this house!" Tears trickled down her cheeks fast. "its really not easy!" she cried. "Oh! sweetheart.." he wanted to cuddle her and comfort her bt he cudnt do tht in the middle of the road in such heavy traffic. He jst sighed from the distance. "u can visit thm any time u like sweetheart.. thr wud b no restrictions.." "I know.. bt still.." Ashutosh offered her handkerchief. She took it silently and something dropped from underneath it! She cried with joy as she picked it up! "Chocolate!" "yup for my Love.. I had bot it for yesterday nite.. bt u jst went to sleep abruptly..!" she flushed a bit! "I was soo tired.. I m sorry!.. bt wen did u transfer me to my room.. I didn't even realize" "I didn't wanted to bt I had to!" he shrugged cutely! She glanced lovingly at the chocolate and thn opened it up at his urging and even offered him a bit! He was surprised.. totally absolutely surprised. She was the girl who wud b so reluctant to share her chocolate. It seemed his Nidhi had grown up suddenly! She took those two bits tht thy fed each other and gave the rest away to the street kids! He looked at her admiringly. She definitely had grown up! Aah bt he was going to miss her chocolate spoiled lips and tht child-like sparkle in her eyes on seeing those chocolates! He sighed. Wen he dropped her at her hospital, he asked. "So wats the plan for tonite.. mine or urs!" "None!" she cried and ran away. A while later she received his txt. A: I want an answer before midnite! N: huh. N.O. no! A: Sweetheart :* N: Huh. Stop buttrin! A: plz.. plz…ppplllzzz! N: aww.. plz…! A: emmhmmm! N: *blushes* okay fine! A: :)) so whose? urs or mine? N: emm.. a surprise! A: really? N: yup.. see u tonite ;)! A: all dead! N: *blushes*.. shut up! A: cute! N: *smiles*.. *flying kisses*.. now bye .. c u! A: *smiles* c u Luv!

And the day passed by as it had come! Both Ashutosh and Nidhi kept completely busy! and thankfully owing to dadi bua's early summon she made quick visits to the kids and Jeevan Sandhya in her brks so as to not to create any issue with Ashutosh. Tho she cud see tht he was really annoyed at her cooking plans in the morning and had accepted the tiffin with only reluctance! She had not yet expressed her desire to keep continuing with the NGO and Jeevan Sandhya inspite of his disapproval. She didn't mean to lie, she was jst looking for rite opportunity, at least after she is transferred back to KGH and everything is streamlined a bit for her and her priorities get more clear! Till thn it was better if he didn't know or he wud worry himself unnecessarily over her! Bt unbeknownst to her, he already knew tht she had all plans to continue with her dance classes and tht too regularly owing to his talk with her NGO!

Wen Nidhi stepped in, fashionably late, she heard some heated debate going on in the living room abt Angie's career. She picked up a few words, renowned and reputed college, Mumbai, and admission letter! Ashutosh and her baba were trying to explain Angie's viewpoint to her dad while Angie and Shyama aunty sat quietly around the sofa! "u r planning to go to Mumbai and u didn't even tell me!" she cried loudly from the door! A shocked Angie looked at her worriedly. Angie darted her eyes at Ashutosh and it struck to Nidhi tht he was very much into this already and only she had been left out! Apparently, everybody knew everything abt it except hers! And neither her best friend nor her to-b-husband had even cared to share this most important news to her. She pouted with angry frown and glared at thm!

I liked the way ashuthosh consoled her that what they did is not something bad , its very natural to feel like that ...I can see their hormones raging pushing them to cross the line 😉😆...I liked the scene where Ashuthosh try to get back to his room after spending night with nidhi and the way DB caught him ...that scene was too good 😉
