rdb mite hv 100 reasons to its success.. but writing.. direction.. acting all make it special.. ! the dialogues were hard hitting..n so was the writing.. in ktlk i can hardly claim any such earth shattering moments..! [PS : i said neutral.. u n i r not neutral ..we r fans of th show/actor/writer etc]

Yh one musnt get personal .. .but in my view he has a major part to play in making it difficult for the viewers to connect with the show..or tracks... so yh.. he does deserve a large part of the blame if not the whole thing...

since Neither of us have contractual details, i think that is a moot point...

The RDB screenplay was not written by KPji...he had only story credit...am not too sure of the dialogue credits even,,,so again, it is not fair to compare the film with this show...

On who has to take the larger or lesser share of the blame, I am not in the business of apportioning blame...I only commented on the excessive dissing...but of course the reasons for the current dissing go beyond the the episodes...there are other factors that have come into play...so, let me refrain from commenting further..!

I said it was a moot point because we have no clue what the contract actually says...while she may have expressed preference for KPji, we do not know for a fact that it was part of a contractual obligation...and there are ways to work around these things if things get difficult...the fact that new writers have been brought in is proof of that,,,

on RDB, it was not his vision...that is my point all along...please do read more on the making of RDB...you will know what I am talking about...

I am not talking of forum rules...there is such a thing as self censorship...I think all of us know when comments get personal...critiquing professional issues is quite different from taking personal potshots...I wish people would get a hang of that here...

Yh obviously we wuld never know the contractual nitty gritties..but we cannot discount them either..no matter how long KTLK runs or how many twists n turns it takes...

and.. KTLK is not his vision either...it was haseena jis vision ..he took it ahead..forward ..etc.. so its a fair comparison..

yep..self censorship is good to hear ...hard to follow.. i myself..fail to follow it at times.. 😆

but m glad i hv the forum to discuss what i want to... the WALL is the least of my preferred places.. ..!

taking someone else's vision forward and having your vision taken forward are two different things...maybe we think otherwise on that,,,

We all have our preferred places, Tanu...the question is are they mutually exclusive,,,,I don't know about you,,,,but personal remarks is something i refrain from making,,,unfortunately for me, my experience on that has not been great so far as IF goes...

Well Sujathaji i feel still KTLK has maintained its difference to an extent just like very few shows in past or present. But who else to blame for the all the major flaws??First in Kerala separation track,Nidhi's character was mishandled, though the entire Mallu-Era Ashu's character was mishandled(here it happened during both the Actors time,so it's not done to put the blame on any other reason!!!) and the last Amar track was just became a meaningless crap.As for baby track is concerned,i will wait until the revelation of the purpose of this track. So both credit and blame goes hugely upon writer here,no doubt!

Swastik,,,the writer is also to blame,,,but not solely to blame,,,just as he alone cannot be given credit for the good things...this was all my point was,,,,

Mahwish,,,a very rude post was made yesterday on his wall,,,and intemperate language is used against him on IF too...I was only suggesting that it might be good to be a little more careful with our language!
