Truly heart rending symbolic story! Kudos Mudraji. Will need read it again prior to commenting any further...
Mudra, now a Khushi fan??? 😆 Like Mallu??? 😆 I think KPji would like your explanation for Khushi. 😉
Good one. Khushi is a free bird. 😉

Very well written, Mudra...the analogy is admirable...
Ashutosh's perspective is completely understandable. ...Like recognizes like...it is as simple as that...I, for one, have never had any problems with his feelings for Khushi...she is his weak spot for she is a reflection of himself...
Moving on to Khushi, while I agree that excessive and overly mature talk is a defense mechanism, a child who has lived out on the streets will also have sharply developed survival skills...she will not deliberately bait at every opportunity...she knows her survival and well-being depends on these people...children are far more smart than we give them credit for...I would still say the the writing of the child's character is flawed...simply because she is being used as a mouth-piece to voice ideologies...a street kid or an abandoned kid is still a kid at the end of the day...you can sense their vulnerability within minutes of interacting with them...the facade is not as thick as they imagine...
when she asked for her stomach to be resized, the words had tremendous impact because a harsh truth of life was couched in a child's words...that was the last time I saw that genius as far as the child goes! Ever since, she has been turned into a propaganda piece!
Sorry if I have gone beyond your writing. But since, this is an analogy, I thought it would be fitting to talk of what inspired it in the first -place!
Beautiful Mudra
simply outstanding.your words moved me so muchthat as cynical as I am, evenI started to feel empathy towards Khushi. An amazing example of creativity.I bow down to you.👏
