Sharad Kelkar's character could've been convincing, hence the limitations in his performance.

1920 Has Decent Opening
Friday 2nd November 2012 12.30 IST
Boxofficeindia.Com Trade Network
1920 had a decent opening as some
mass pockets took a good opening.
The film opened to 50% collections
at some centres in Gujarat, CP
Berar and CI. Even multiplexes in
these places had decent collections.
The all India average was around
30-35%.
The collections at multiplexes were
lower but still the film is low cost
and should put up a good enough
first day to sail through at the box
office.
The opening was much higher than a
similar film Bhoot Returns which
opened a few weeks back.
The other Hindi release Luv Shuv Tey
Chicken Khurana is a word of mouth
film and could score better in Delhi
and Punjab.
