Agree with you the comparison was silly. In any case Kushi has helped herself to chocolates earlier. She can simply say I was hungry and mouth the same pet chota kar do dialogue.

Ditto. I felt the same way. Any kid would be tempted by chocolates. Kids Eating chocolates at midnight will not come under stealing. It is natural.
