Mallika had a certain poignance and dignity to her that could have made her a truly memorable character...alas TRP dictates and saas-bahu crap runied what she could have been...

For me the character started getting messed up from the time the eye rolling got excessive...it was all downhill from thereon...

But as a woman, I feel just as strongly for Mallika as I do for Nidhi...she had a right to her love and her dignity...her greatest mistake was in trying to snatch someone's else's love from them...if she had remained as dignified as she started out, she would have earned the respect, admiration and love of both Ashutosh and Nidhi...alas, she was not given the chance...

I said this the day she left and I say this again...I hope Mallika finds peace and happiness wherever...her mistakes do not preclude her right to life and happiness...if it did,. none of us would have the right to be happy!

@bold: 👍🏼 I want to see her happy single mother who is taking care of her baby single handedly with dignity.

I have my reasons...

Mallika was a strong character.. and as KPji says, KTLK is AshNi's love story and it is incomplete without Mallika.

Mallika's character had the dignity, intelligence, excellent doctor, has enough sacrifices in her kitty for the sake of her younger siblings, equal mental equation with Ashutosh, beauty and got every right to love the person whom she liked..

We would have seen more positive side of hers, had the story was little more concentrated on the professional (hospital) back drop rather than the house politics...

She would have been more dignified, if at all she had more professional clashes with Ashutosh and Nidhi.. yet mutual help at the personal front.. Alas! she had to reduce herself to compete in the kitchen to prove herself better than Ashutosh's love...as Nidhi was reduced to a typical bahu of saas-bahu house hold..

She would have got more applause had she been shown fighting for her rights from Jagan with the help of Ashutosh and Jagan acted as 'Log' in this Ash-Mal equation

She had all the potential to make Nidhi grow into a perfect match to Ashutosh mentally.. She would have provided that test of fire to emerge AshNi a true winner...and turn AshNi's love story a stronger bonded one...

Alas! everything was turned out to be very pale with her mad extremities of passion...resulting, still AshNi struggle to find the strength of their relationship!!

It is totally heart wrenching and sad exit of hers with a murder case and a title 'witch' in her kitty..😭

Jab Mallika ko bahar hi bhejna tha toh itna drama kyu create kiya.
I liked the character of Mallika , she too deserved all happiness in life.
But sabki Kismat ek jaisi nahi hoti.
