Very nice post indeed Mudraji!!!
I also loved Dr. Mallika in the earliest episodes. She was portrayed as a beautiful woman, expert & erudite doctor, with elegant dressing sense, had done so many sacrifices for her family and was one & only close friend of Ashu(Armaan came quite late in the show.)
Her character had a lot of potential to be developed as dignified woman & successful DR. rather than obsessed lover. She could hv been shown as a mentor for Nidhi and other lady-interns like they had Nurse D'Souza. Alas, the story wasn't confined to hospital but to the age-gap love-story...
I started hating her when she made Nidhi sell that inherited house and then in previous Mallu track, she started scheming against Nidhi 😡😡😡 As, anyone, who comes inbetween AshNi, I violently hate them😡😡😡
