Realistically, koi bhi self-respecting aadmi apni begum ko kisi ghair mard ko nahi saump deta. If Kamlesh Ji pursues that angle to depict Ashutosh as mahaan and self sacrificing, I for one will be disgusted. No man has the right to make such decision for a woman, albeit his wife, no matter what his intentions may be.

Asutosh is not very expressive. He may not act like a typical jealous husband even if he feels so. Remember during sangeet function he concluded since nidhi is busy with her family she has no time to call me. He is also not good in reading his wife. coupled with his complex about the age gap he may read everything wrong. it is quiet possible. Ultimately they will be together. If nidhi plans anything to annoy him it may backfire.That is why I am not that excited with this new entry as he may drag on this separation track.Let me hope the writer surprises me. and I am also not sure if this is going to be a jealousy track. Amar is brought in as a safe bet to fill in SK if he has some problem with the schedule.

Radhika. for actually understanding my point...everybody else seems to think that I am trying to sabotage the love story by giving KPji ideas...the fact is his mind does not work in normal ways...he also goes to extremes and in directions other than those that you want or expect him to...this is how I have read him...and hence this post...

And with regard to a husband deciding to get his wife and her lover together, what was HDDCS all about...Ashutosh and Nidhi will get together in the end...there is no doubt about it...this is their story...and yes, Ashutosh may feel jealous even...but how he will deal with is my concern...after justifying his care for Mallika on the basis of humaneness and professional ethics, if he started questioning Nidhi's care for a patient and read more into it , it would render his character completely hollow...

For all his support of Nidhi, Ashutosh is KPji's alter ego...he will defend him to death,,,,this is again my reading...Ashutosh will not be anything less than mahaan...even if he feels base emotions like jealousy, he will deal with it in out of the box ways to reiterate his mahanta to himself and not others...he cannot live with himself otherwise...

I am not saying he will force Nidhi to get together with Amar...that would be preposterous...he might just decide to step aside silently amd let her do what he thinks she wants...if Nidhi tries to use Amar to make him jealous, he might well end up withdrawing further...making Nidhi seem even more immature in the process ...this is my biggest fear!

Sujathaji, ur biggest fear seems valid with KPji's style of thinking and the way Ashu's character has been defined till date. First he came up with a plan of mallu redemption and AshNi character assassination. This plan backfired. So, now new entry and to redeem Ashu /making him larger than life hubby, he is up with c.a. of Nidhi.
About HDDCS, the lady Nandini was never happy with her marriage, she hadnt accepted him as hubby. Post-mariage, she was still in love with SalmaanKhan's character(dont recall name) and always wanted to go to him. Thats why hubby chose to get her love to her -with consent from his father too. Nidhi's story is completely other way round. And she never gonna marry any1 else let alone love except Ashu.

I don't believe that he accepts and changes his story for anybody. But still it excites him if some out of the box idea is given. He is obsessed to make this story unique rather than allowing to take it"s natural course. So he takes it to extremes.My personal opinion is the uniqueness in this story is age gap. Rather than highlighting this fact he brings in a third party. since a triangle is an old wine., he is trying to present it in a new bottle called friendship and humanity. He cannot think a story without conflicts . separation or tragedy. So forum folks get upset if some negative tracks are anticipated as it might encourage the writer, to proceed with his crazy ideas.No body wants asutosh as a mahan we want him to be a normal man who is deeply in love with his wife. But we may never get to see this in the show. This is our misfortune . For the writer It is always take it or leave it . Right now I take it if it goes to the extreme I may leave it. I believe this should be the attitude of every KTLK viewer. We've screamed enough not to mutilate this love story for no avail.
