Why is Nidhi's family not upset with Ashutosh?

I remember during the last Mallika track, Dadi Bua clearly asked Ashutosh to maintain his distance from Mallika...she was upset with him because she felt her daughter's rights were being compromised...

However, in the current track, the family does not appear particularly upset with AShutosh...not even Anji, who was the one to decode the fact that Ashutosh was helping Mallika only because Nidhi denied him a child for the next two years, seems particularly upset with him...she wants to get Nidhi back with Ashutosh at any cost...this means that they are not seeking a resolution to the Mallika issue...they just want the couple back together...what does this mean...do they think this issue is not such a big deal after all...that the couple should stay together and resolve their differences internally...? What is their stand on Mallika...? Would they also expect Ashutosh to cut off all ties with her...or would they try and explain Ashutosh's perspective to her...just as BB is trying to explain Nidhi's perspective to Ashutosh?

Sujata: Good thought.. I think nidhi's family this time isn't much upset with ashu bcoz ashni haven't told them what is real reason behind their conflict.. CB is handling the issue in a very matured way as always bt Db is very suprisingly superb.. She doesn't seems to be giving any taana on ashu's age etc.. As nidhi's family knw hw much ashni love each other.. So in their mind there is no doubt abt their love as they feel love will bring them back together.. They clearly knw hw much ashni r missing each other despite their conflicts.. .. We cud see that in yesterday's epi the smile on ashni's faces when they saw each others missed call in the morning.. All in all nidhi's family think ashni's love will bring them together & then solve their conflicts...

Malllika suddenly seem to be non existent in the show and with the characters as well...I thought her redemption was to be the focal point here...as I said getting back together is not going to solve anything..the conflict stays till they acknowledge and talk about it...the issue here is not the argument they had or the hurt they caused due to their words...but issue is malllika ,kid Ashu,nidhi...and they have to talk ...they really have...

Wondering about the scene the writer has written for malllika and nidhi ...maybe it will be shown next week...

This week mallu was kept out of focus as they sensed she has become overdose and it started to backfire in trps...I am sure next week we will be compensated for this .it will be either ashu mallu or nidhi mallu.don't forget ktlk is all about Mallika. She is a bitter medicine and we are kids. We will be caught unawares when she again takes center stage. barring wedding sequence and last 10 or 12 episodes it is always Mallika. so let us enjoy this short break .

@Bold If they don't want this I will really be surprised. If they don't want their daughter's murderer(almost killed her) kept out of her life, isn't it absord? Sujathaji you are a mother of a teenage girl. Will you be ok with the fact that a lady, who tortured your daughter a lot, tried to break her marriage and above all she almost had killed your princess, is very much a part of your son-in-law,s and daughter's life?

Koyel...my daughter's happiness would be my primary concern..and much of how I react would be dependent on my daughter's stance on this...

But you may be interested in knowing my daughter's stance...she wants to know why this is a big deal...if the woman needs help and has no one else to help her, why should they hold past grudges against her...this is not the time for that...despite being twenty and of today's generation, she thinks marriage means a commitment that cannot be compromised by walking out at will...she also says that both partners need the space to breathe...they can say what they think to each other but cannot impose their will on them...people should be allowed to act as per their conscience...!

Radhika...I don't think they don't know...certain things are assumed...the conversation between the elders was muted...and am sure they must be knowing what is happening...and BB knows for sure...even he is not questioning Ashutosh for helping Mallika under the circumstances..just saying he should be a little more sensitive to Nidhi's feelings...!
