What attributes fire has? Fire knows no difference, it will burn Seeta whether she is chaste or not and it will burn Ram and Ravan equally because Ram too was(if you believe it) a human incarnation. How dumb to let fire decide it? Didn't Ram have enough trust in his love for Seeta? And you may not know this but finally Ram drowned himself (glorified in scriptures as 'Jal-samadhi')in the Sarayu. It looks like suicide but the scripture defend it that it was the end of his time on earth. Why did he not just disappear? Why did he have to drown himself? I do not trust scriptures. they are mostly full of crap. There are a few jewels here and there but they are very few and far in between. Most of it is fiction to exploit gullible Hindus.
