Why cant there be JUST FRANDSHIP..??

Yes.. i have wanted to discuss this since ages... never seem to find the time (or honestly.. the energy) to post ..😆 [Yes m super lajjjy u see 😳]

So.. what i meant is... why cant we have.. JUST FRANDSHIP between two people of the Opposite Sex?? 😕

Look at KTLK for instance ...

Mallu and Ashu ...

Rohan and Nidhi ...

Same old .. same old cliche ... in both cases... Mallu and Rohan started out as Frands for Ashu and Nidhi respectively ... but eventually ended up falling for them and getting rejected ...

All this really makes me wonder... if the phrase .. 'Ek ladka aur ladki kabhi dost nahi ho sakte' ... is true?? Atleast for our TV-pur? 😕

Have seen tons of shows. .but i find this same issue .. plaguing in all of them.. the best frand (if a guy or a girl) ends up falling for their best frand (girl or guy respectively) and it invariably ends up as unrequitted love.. with even the relation of 'FRANDSHIP' getting strained thru it all..! 😒

Tell me ur views?? Do u think ... its true?? A guy or a girl..can never be JUST FRANDS?

Yes Tanu..This is a biggest question on Shows... may be this is due to something like Love and romance sell the most...

Personally I have not seen this outside... as far as the girl and boy know their limits and behave
( I never encourage Rohan / Ashu kind of combing hair or even touching on the hand)

Btw good u pointed out.. the 'combing hair' was also done ... they do ensure to give both sets of friends equal chances of pampering 😆

And true.. i never get this in shows.. it happens in every damn show.. Why do they hv to always put friendship in the backdrop of love !

I dont even like the common dialogue... friendship is the first step to love...😲🤢

In my little experience of 31 years I hav to sadly say no... Even if it's unintentional or platonic, either one develops some feelings or the other if it's a really close friendship.. I m talking of real close friendships here...

of course they can be friends infact my husband is in contact with all his friends right from his school days and we all have great times when we meet with their spouses...

it's only in ktlk that mallika is obsessed with Ashu...atleast Rohan had some respect for Nidhi and left her alone after marriage but mallika ufff...

now from tomm 11 pm the torture...

ohh yes .. a girl and a boy can be best of buddies..

i dont have to look beyond myself for that ...

my bestest buddy is a guy whom i have known since lkg .. we moved to diff cities for studies n jobs.. last i saw him in 2007 ... but still we are best of frens.. i know all abt his crushes n stuff ..and vice versa ! share every little thing ...

so i dont agree at all wid the cliche .. ek ladka ek ladki kabhi dost nahi ho sakte !

shalini yh true he left her alone but he tried to create issues ..like hidinh de ring etc...i jus dun like seeing gud frndshps getting tainted such...

Wow thts awesome.😊.. i too hv guy frnds but m closer to my girlies...kinda shy yapping wid de guys tho get along really well..
