We have already seen tooo much of Mallu and this is getting very repetitive - Mallu interfering in AshNi's lives. It gets depressing to see negativity and Nidhi crying/Ashu angry & brooding.

Couldn't KPji have let Ashu keep his unhappiness of not having a baby right away brought in gradually into a story? Like having a storyline where an orphan kid is brought to the hospital in critical situation in Nidhi's children ward, and shown to have gone through some unbelievable situations in life as Ashu. AshNi would help the orphan kid heal and also learn of his struggles.

While helping the orphan kid, they could bring out Ashu's nightmares from his past, where he would become quiet sometimes while watching this orphan and remembering his dark past. This would open up Nidhi to his past and allow Ashu to talk about his past slowly, allowing Nidhi to learn about what Ashu is hiding from and what his fears are. This allows Nidhi to understand why Ashu would like to have a baby soon and understand his feelings.

This also allows Nidhi to grow and mature, both as a woman and a doctor - remember Ashu always thinks of her as a kid. As Nidhi matures, she can think about motherhood.

No Mallu needed!!!

What a great track Hinaji...👏

But the entry is too soon on her part. I agree the lines you have suggested for handling Ashu are true to an extent. more than handling ashu, I want both of them to communicate with out any third person.

But some where I wish CV's show some track on overnight awakening of Nidhi. Remember, the night before she said that she wants to start some hobby, next day went to KGH with lunch, met Jyotika and excitedly declared about her wish to join hospital, which I feel bit hasty.

For normal audience, (keeping aside personal inclination for career or empowerment issues)...it looks as this is the way she choose to postpone pregnancy and handling responsibilities of child. No where in the past, she has career dreams and seriousness about profession is the least she carries. I wish and hope to see her as complete doctor, but definitely want to see a couple of issues which aroused her dreams...Did she realized the importance of being a doctor/want to create her own identity/ for financial independence/to spend time???? Somewhere I feel even Ashu has these doubts...if she opens clearly on these stands without randomly asking for 2 years...the problem will get sorted out easily

Yes, you are right Nandini. Nidhi is unsure of her of future. After all, she is still child inside. She never had to seriously think about her future - it was always CB that pushed her to complete her medical studies. Yes, we do not need a 3rd person to resolve their differences, and my suggestion of an orphan boy needing help is a way to bring Nidhi and Ashu to think about their decisions and further their communication, and discuss their deepest fears. This would bring maturity to Nidhi and allow Ashu to discuss his fears.

But of course, KPji don't want them to communicate, but bring in Mallu to decide for them and gain TRPs. 😡

And Nidhi has not made many decisions seriously, it was more from guidance from friends & family. She always took advice. She could not think on her own much. The only decision she made on her own was to join again KGH and that was to get to meet Ashu and express her love for him. That was not a career decision but a decision based on love - hearts desire. She lacks some maturity that motherhood requires. Maturity is gained when a person grows & learns from life.

Actually, I think they should have waited for a couple of months to bring the baby issue into the storyline. In between they should have shown Nidhi starting children's ward rotation gaining maturity by starting to see how Ashu & she herself love children, and some age-gap issues and/or minor disagreements between the two to have Nidhi understand where Ashu is coming from - his points of view. That way the door opens up for the communication required for major disagreements like the baby issue & their resolution. No 3rd party.

They were brought apart more than together from the beginning. There was always Mallu constantly separating them and then Nidhi's family. They did not have many serious conversations about life. They don't even know much about each other, just knowing that Nidhi is more a child & free bird & always doing things w/o thinking, and Ashu is introvert, always serious, and practical.

Wonderful post.
Excellent way to reveal Ashu's dark corners. This dark corners are not known to Mallu also, so why to use her? I think Ashni really needs some time before becoming parents, Though I always support early parenthood for them but after watching last episode , I feel Ashu needs to open up first infront of Nidhi, There are lots of things waiting for the couple to share before they go for the baby. Ashu need to be free from all his inner most dark corners otherwise these will never allow him to give 100% to Nidhi and his family. Yes, Now I really feel Ashni needs sometime as couple before becoming parents. Not for career, as I believe career can be handled with motherhood , but for complete trust of Ashu on Nidhi that he can share anything and everything with his wife. If Mallu's baby is used for Ashu's revelation to Nidhi then its ok, otherwise cannot digest Mallu, the MU creater & solution provider of Ashni conflict. Do not want again Mallu interfering the couple's life, in positive or negative way. Only want her to reveal all past deeds . Let Ashu realize actually how much pain his 12yrs friendship cause to Nidhi as well as her family.
Let him first believe that Nidhi is his strength, his companion of life, his ultimate solace. Only Nidhi can bring monsoon to his dry, lonely life.
Let Nidhi understand Ashu's actual pain, his insecurity, his reason of loneliness, as much as I understand Nidhi she will do anything to make Ashu happy.

Agree with you Koyel. AshNi need to come together as a couple and share more about themselves, confide and understand each other. There have not been many serious conversations between the two except when Ashu revealed about Baba leaving and how angry he was about the way he left him without the home Baba raised him in and another for when Nidhi would not fight for their relationship with her father.

Mallu should not be interfering in their lives either way.
