Neither did I...but on another show, the girl was shown going to her maayka...so assumed that must be the tradition 😊

Actually I am from UP and my mom celebrates Teez and it is not necessarily celebrated in Maayka but yes the Sargi (as in Sarees and Bangles stuff) from the Maayka. So my mom sends it to my sis who is in US too

On another Rajan SHahi show, that is what they showed...so assumed that to be the tradition...but don't think we are getting it anyway going by the precap!

Dunno about the shows but traditionally Teez is a very big festival in UP and Bihar. All my relatives celebrate it in their sasuraals. We do not celebrate Karva Chauth though, Teez is the equivalent of Karva Chauth in our side at least in my house.😊
But yeah it would have been cool if they showed it, since in UP the importance of Teez is really high.

Teej wow good idea..its like karwachauth of UP...Full day..Fasting without water..and Then opening it by doing puja..Not romantic like Karwachauth..Where u drink water by Hubbys hand and see chand...

wow, i would really love to see nidhi keep fast for ashu. it would be so romantic to see how he would react to that, it has already been mentioned by himthat he thougt that all these customs and rituals seemed superficial to him until he saw Ranji wedding, so his reacto to his wife fasting for him will be interesting. i wonder if he will keep fast for her too.😳
