The greatest thing to have happened over the last two to three weeks in the show is the emergence of a couple that truly looks married...not too long ago, we were all debating over whether it was realistic for a newly married couple to behave the way they were, Dr Ashutosh's lack of ardour etc...looks like our complaints have been heard...
Twice in the last two days, I could so connect with the couple at a very real level...the first was that conversation they had with Nidhi seated on Ashutosh's lap...and then again, yesterday that throwaway line about the gift going along with him to the bedroom...and what was even bettter was the innuendo was initiated by Ashutosh...he is a man after all...and one who is married to a young and beautiful woman...he could be excused for not being able to keep his eyes and hands off her...and that is exactly what is happening...her slightest change of face is affecting him...he seizes every opportunity to throw an arm around her...the physical touch is almost always maintained...what a progression this has been!
After a very long time, I am able to see real intimacy between a couple on television...not the fake fluttering of eyelashes or heaving bosoms and heavy breathing that we see on other shows...they are both comfortable with the physicality of their relationship and do not miss an opportunity to express themselves...so, so true of how a newly married couple behaves...
They are now truly behaving like man and wife in every sense...here's to Mr and Mrs Ashutosh!
