I was no big fan of DB because she used to her screech herself silly to keep Ashu and Nidhi apart but looking at Bade Baba, Dadi Bua has only fault - love for Nidhi.Selfless

vs. Selfish

DB selflessly moved in to take care of a motherless child. BB disowned his daughter and didn't look at his granddaughter for 24-25 years.

Acceptance

vs. Denial

DB though against Ashu and Nidhi marriage initially accepted it later on, was rude to Ashu but repented later as she knew it was hurting Nidhi.

BB on the other hand after knowing that Nidhi is Ashu's choice and also his granddaughter, keeps talking of his past wish of Mallu as his bahu.

Blind Love

vs. Blind Faith

DB is only blinded by her love for Nidhi and will give her life for her.

BB's blind faith in Mallu overpowers his natural attachment to his granddaughter/daughter-in-law. After all BB did get to know Nidhi as a person in JS. How can he even pardon someone who wanted to take his GD's life.

DB despite being a Grand Aunt has only Nidhi's best interests in her heart. Time BB went to her for coaching classes on how to become a better grandparent.

What an absolutely beautiful post. I loved it. I have always liked DB, right from the beginning. I know she yells , but I saw the love she has for nidhi behind all the screeching of hers. I am just glad you think so also, and like to say thank you for putting it so beautifully in words.

I loved all the emotis. Really really cute.

So true Sujatha, I surprised myself. But really DB is only a loud old lady, who loves Nidhi and given her all to bring her up.

I fully agree with you...When Ashu Nidhi got married I was so happy for Nidhi that she is going to live with her nana who would shower unlimited love , blessing n support on her, as we saw BB repenting in JS I expected nidhi would take Nandini's place but alas BB always frustrated me, like Ashu he had boundless trust n believe in Mallu over Nidhi, he never ever believed or supported Nidhi regarding any matter of Mallu...so pathetic. Now Ashu n BB both know DB's assumption about Mallu's wrong doing was correct, let see how they treat her now.

very apt post Sumi...BB threw his daughter out and declared her dead and adopted a boy and abandoned him too..DB left her whole personal life to take care of this motherless child and stuck to her despite the fact that her damaad told her to get out of their lives...

But will KP spare her in his current character assassination mode? i don't have hopes..what if after hearing what all happened at Mathur Mansion, DB ends up saying "chalo achcha hain...kam se kam woh chudail ghar se baahar toh nikal gayi" and the topic of poisoning doesn't enter the discussion at all? yesterday there was a post as to Nidhi's family should be informed of this..but what if they were informed and all the reaction we get to see is their relief that Mallika is out of the house and nothing else?

Thanks Libra. Her love for Nidhi makes her screechy but she also accepted Ashu as he was Nidhi's love. Wish BB her own grandpa had a bit more love and trust for Nidhi.

waves awesome post...and DB is not a person with plotting or revenge in her heart ..she is blinded by her love for nidhi and over protective given she raised the girl as her kid...and not only that she extends the same rights on anjie too

whereas BB is a shocking revelation...i cannot believe that he will try to pacify things instead of condemning her...if another even raises a voice on the child the parent or grandparent will bring the hosue down and here malllika tried to kill his grand daughter and instead of even feeling for her he is running afte rmallika to make it up to her...wah just wah...

his own daughter too must be asking question from up above...
