I really want to know! Why should Nidhi prove anything? Her innocence or Mallika's guilt? Is she Sherlock Holmes, ACP Pradyuman SIngh or Karamchand? Is this some serial diktat that women should always turn detectives? Are men such dumb idiots and so incapable of taxing their pea-brains that they can't add two and two up...or are they genetically programmed, at least on Indian TV, to come up with 5 for an answer?!
I think Nidhi should say enough is enough and get on with her life. Assuming that she still believes that she has a life outside of that house that is. She should pick up the threads of her aborted career and try to move on with that. Nobody puts their life on hold for anyone else after a point. If Nidhi were to receive a communication from the college where she studied or the medical board or whatever asking her if she was serious about finishing her course at all, I am sure even Ashutosh will not prevent her from going back. At least then we won't have a ridiculously written scene where a house surgeon, who has been out of practice for a maximum of two months, claims to have forgotten how to administer an injection!
Wtih Nidhi out of the house, Mallika cannot keep faking madness forever. Some day or the other, she has to get better. In the process, if she can make a man, who has resisted her for 12 years, succumb to her charms, then good for her and very good for Nidhi. Such a man was never worth having! On the other hand, if Ashutosh either smells a rat or, on seeing Mallika doing better, urges her to move on with her life, then good for him! Whatever it maybe, why should the onus always be on the woman?
Sometimes, it is better to just sit back and watch the fun. The problem arises only when you try too hard. I wish somebody would tell Nidhi this!
P.S- I so want to see Ashutosh coping with Mallika's advances in Nidhi's absence. And BB fondly smiling and urging him to fulfil his dreams at least now!
