Why should Nidhi prove anything?

I really want to know! Why should Nidhi prove anything? Her innocence or Mallika's guilt? Is she Sherlock Holmes, ACP Pradyuman SIngh or Karamchand? Is this some serial diktat that women should always turn detectives? Are men such dumb idiots and so incapable of taxing their pea-brains that they can't add two and two up...or are they genetically programmed, at least on Indian TV, to come up with 5 for an answer?!

I think Nidhi should say enough is enough and get on with her life. Assuming that she still believes that she has a life outside of that house that is. She should pick up the threads of her aborted career and try to move on with that. Nobody puts their life on hold for anyone else after a point. If Nidhi were to receive a communication from the college where she studied or the medical board or whatever asking her if she was serious about finishing her course at all, I am sure even Ashutosh will not prevent her from going back. At least then we won't have a ridiculously written scene where a house surgeon, who has been out of practice for a maximum of two months, claims to have forgotten how to administer an injection!

Wtih Nidhi out of the house, Mallika cannot keep faking madness forever. Some day or the other, she has to get better. In the process, if she can make a man, who has resisted her for 12 years, succumb to her charms, then good for her and very good for Nidhi. Such a man was never worth having! On the other hand, if Ashutosh either smells a rat or, on seeing Mallika doing better, urges her to move on with her life, then good for him! Whatever it maybe, why should the onus always be on the woman?

Sometimes, it is better to just sit back and watch the fun. The problem arises only when you try too hard. I wish somebody would tell Nidhi this!

P.S- I so want to see Ashutosh coping with Mallika's advances in Nidhi's absence. And BB fondly smiling and urging him to fulfil his dreams at least now!

Tanu, I don't have a problem with Nidhi being in the driver's seat...I am all for that...I am just saying this whole heroine-exposing-faking-vamp is so cliched. This is what is being dished out to us for over the last decade now. I so hate the fact that Nidhi is now going the Tulsi, Parvati bhabhi way. I want Nidhi to outwit her by all means. But not necessarily by spying on her! What about giving her a long enough rope and waiting for her to hang herself?! I want to see the woman strong enough to move on with her life and not sit around waiting for her partner to wake up one fine day and realize her worth. Or worse still having to prove her worth to him! Or even worse, prove the vamp's wickedness! Is there nothing more to a woman's life than fighting the other woman?!

I really had such high hopes from this show. To see this one too go the regular route hurts. I know we have the remote option but the fact is somewhere you grow fond of these characters. This is what keeps you hooked and the makers know this only too well!

Salute to you Sujatha.rao. Enough is enough and it is disgusting...this character Dr. Ashutosh has become a villain now...what is he capable of (if we leave the surgeon bit)...KP says Mallika was brought in as SK is in wheel chair...why should Nidhi expose Mallika...OK Mallika will leave after few days...then some other character enters if Ashu is a genius...then whole life, Nidhi will be in firefighting mode...he failed as Doctor and Husband...

Thank you for these lines, I agree whole heatedly, with your way of thinking.

Why do we have to go to that extent??? Get on with her life.. Move on?? Is it that bad?? Is it not too early in th day to call it quits?? I think so... why should she get up and leave her own house.. the man of her dreams.. just coz of a random XYZ ... i did ensure to pluck out the pest and annihilate it... ! Yep. .i wanna see Nidhi back as a Doc but not for such premises...! Nidhi isnt the Tulsi Parvati whose hubby have had extra marital affairs n a dozen cross connected kids.. that decade is gone..! Yes even now we see women a bit more melodramatic than we prefer..but things have changed! I did like to see Nidhi ward off Mallu once and for all... n deffo want her back in the hosp.. any hosp for that matter..!

The show strayed its way towards a Tulsi /Parvathi long ago when Nidhi left her job and did nothing..
At that point it self many had lost their interests and deserted the show.

Still there were hopes about the show to become out of box due to age-gap love story... But that too has lost its charm with the just-in-time story making and clumsy character assassinations and no one got the long term vision..

So, 'strong woman', 'showing worth'..etc etc...have lost their meaning or donot have any meaning at all in this show. If you really expect such things, better not stick to this.

To me, this entire Mallika's mental concept is a bakwas. This is not at all adding any value to the story...stretching this track over months only helping in deteriorating Ashutosh further... As someone said, in the other thread, this drama is reaching a peak...when the entire drama is a wasteful thing, why to take to the peak and close it??

What you have pointed out is a good question...about the academic institutes making enquiries about the course completion of their students...Right..all private universities do this... They make counseling arrangements too if a student is unable to complete due to some psychological pressures...

( I really want to see some writer / CV change for this show.. from this point onwards also is OK with me)

We think like this, but unfortunately for us, the PH, Producre ans the CV's don't. I really want this show to last for a while yet. But the current track is so negative, a lot of people are loosing hope and interest. Unless, they don't take precautions, don't know how long they will be able to keep it going. Now if they don't care that the show ends or not then it's another story. My POV, but I think that this weeks drop in rank, is only a beginning, it measures are not taken, then it might very well get worse.
