I feel the way the character of Ashu has been developed, you can never deny his lack of spirituality - think the jogin, think dargah.

Poojas is abour praying, and to pray is to be 'in unity'. Ashu saying a heartfelt sorry to his nai naveli dulhan - what could be a more powerfully potent moment than a pooja!?

When we become hardcore about do's and don'ts, we end us as conformists, singing to the tunes of others.

In peace! ❤️

i agree with you. pooja toh shraddha se hoti hai, and we saw that even before the pooja had started, there was no real feeling in nidhi or ashutoshfor this event, nidhi was doing it to humor dadibhua and ashu participated because he had no choice.

Thanks for the reply. However I disagree that its okay to converse during Aarti time.

From where I come..all poojas are taken pretty seriously. And SP is taken as a "SANKALP" a vow . I do know its performed on Poornima every month. Does that mean it can be taken lightly? And I am from Mumbai...:) in case you are wondering...:)

Agreed, he was apologising and not romancing I totally understand your point. Maybe its just my view, but I do see it as a little disrespectful if one doesn't have 10 mins during pooja time to devote for God.

One should not be performing the pooja then..just my thought.

come on he is just behaving according to his character some believe in pooja and some dont that doestnt mean they r wrong or right . log asay hotay hai.

. But at that time he was worried that Nidhi was upset. And when a person is worried, he/she may not be able to focus on the Puja. If DB had given him the chance to talk first, he would have done Puja respectfully, even if he did not believe in the puja.

The point the TM did raise was the puja was not too elaborate and may be the main for the couples welfare, and even though many may not follow rituals strictly sometimes it seems offensive..

I think the way the script was written with interruption was inappropriate So the CV's are at fault...

and it automatically implies on the character..
Don't recall was angies call also during the same time so overall the interruptions did'nt gell well with the scene as sometimes when the room audience is immerse in the ritual its good to have patience and complete it in reel or real scenarios...
