So this blushing groom thing goes against the grain of the core story, imho.

Passion need not be explicit. Fine to be indicative - in isharas, in exchanges between Ashni. In his changed expressions when he is at work and then when his visage changes, and we know why. In Nidhi's expressions similarly.

ditto !! cudnt agree more..i noe ppl expect some sort of chemistry , dat passionate romance aftrall it's a daily soap bt considering d concept of d show as in d "age-gap thing"..i'm pretty much satisfied d way d story is progressing.. we cant expect dat sizzing romance between ashni only coz dey r married nw.. dis show has an entirely different charm to it..it's about ppl from two generations falling in love..so it shud be more of dat "understanding" between each other..n as u said "passion need not be explicit".. it goes absolutely correct for a couple lyk ashni..love n care for each other can also be shown in a different way..dey doesnt really need to have something hot n steamy to prove der love.

Lovely post and I think we needed to bring out our opinions and thoughts on the characters...So here goes...

1)Dr.Ashu.....I love this character as it has been portrayed from the time the show started...I like his honesty, his dedication to his duty, his loyalty to his friends Mallika and Armaan, his deep untold love for Nidhi...In fact everything about him...But now after his marriage I would like to see him coming out of his shell slowly and becoming more demonstrative towards his wife Nidhi...This should be a gradual process and not an overnight change...

2).Dr.Nidhi...She has always been a bubbly character and has at times been behaving like a petulant child...Actually this child-woman character has been depicted very well in the show...In my opinion she does not need to change anything when it comes to her attitude towards Ashu...but one thing I would love to see is Nidhi becoming more serious towards her career and a change in her attitude to her profession...After all she is a doctor and is married to one...There is now nothing to stop her from pursuing her medical profession...after all that is a very noble profession ad she has no fear that her husband would not understand the erratic hours which doctors need to keep being a surgeon himself...

3) Dr.ranga...Want the CVs to show him practicing medicine also instead of him just sitting behind his desk and saying "i am the administrator of this hospital"...

4) Rohan...This is one character that has irked me the most...'Maan na maan main tera mehmaan'...This suits him to the Tee...He needs to put his MBA degree to the best use and at least find a job for himself and move out of the Verma's house...At least he can find a place for himself and move out to the vicinity...No problem if he keeps contact with the Vermas and even continues being Nidhi's friend...

5) Armaan...A true friend in e very sense of the word...But needs to show that he does run a fashion house and should be shown going about his business at least once in a while...He can still continue to be a friend, philosopher and guide to Ashu...But should also find a place for himself and his mom to live in and keep in touch with Ashni and Baba...even if it is quite frequently...After all Ashu can't move even a step further in his love-life without Armu's guidance and support...😉...So he is definitely needed for the smooth sailing of Ashni's Naiyya...

6) Anjie...Anjie has been tossed around between being a fashion-designer in her own right and looking after Col Varma's export business...She needs to focus on her career and settle for any one thing..and also whatever she chooses to do she should do it with dedication...

7)Dadi bua...She needs to be sent on a 'Char-Dhaam Yatra'...with immediate effect...Tired of her screaming...actually have become hard of hearing from hearing her scream endlessly since the past 8 months...

8) mallika....For the moment let her be kept as far away from Ashni as possible enjoying her marital bliss...But she can always be brought back later to spice up the show...But her return should be only after Ashni have settled down in their married life and have strengthened their already strong bond...So that any tricks she plays to separate Ashni will not be successful...As for her attitude I like her the way she is...But it would be nice if she does what her heart tells her rather than listen to her PHD in Mardology SIL...😊

@Nili: agree.. The reason why sme ppl went hyper is bcoz there ws huge expectation that SR or next morning ashni wud hv sme romance bt it all went tai tai phish... Nothing more than...
