Nidhi's Father is a selfish man:

1. He didn't care about his father-in-law feelings when he got married. He only thought of himself...
2. He didn't care about his daughter feeling when she wanted to marry Ashu. He only thought about his reputation in society...
3. He didn't care about Nidhi when she asked 'what if he meets bade baba again'. He was selfish again.. He must have thought that Nidhi needs his grand father love and forget everything

I think his character is a sad character. What do you think??

Forget about punishing the guilty. He never gave any credit to Nidhi for selling the house and saving him from disaster.
It was Nidhi who took all pressure when he was lying on bed...

No.

When he was young, he married a girl of his choice without her father's consent.. true. But he did go to that father later and BB was the one never reestablished the relation.. to the extent, Ashutosh never knew about Nandini (I guess this is the name)

He had accepted the house ..because it was given to his daughter.. not to him.. no where we have the proof what he would have done, if the house was given to him.. so cannot say he is selfish.

When his daughter wanted to marry a person ( though has got a very high reputation as a doctor) double her age, not only samaj, whatever point DB raised for Mandira were 100% true. No one can deny the age factor or the mental age-gap factor... This Ashutosh never had clarified his stand about their relationship to Col Verma. All that he did was, the confrontation at Kerala... I do agree, he supported Mandira, but in his own case, he has not clarified his POV... Ashutosh and Nidhi also never discussed to each other about their relationship in the family's / samaj's POV

If this is the case, not only Col Verma, any other father also would behaved in the same way... he knows his daughter's childish mentality and cannot sit quiet if she wants to play with fire..

Rahi baat believing Mansukhani blindly , such tracks have not come yet, so till the time CVs get time to come out of the current crap, I dont know what to comment.

His daughter soldoff Ashu's dream house... She frantically tried to reach him... It was Ashu's turn that time to be stupid... Also, when she sold off the house, Col.Verma had no idea.. remember he was lying on the bed with heart attack.

Having a general concern,Baba has right to think about their future. It is the responsibility of the couples to try to convince.
1.Ashu could have tried to explain more elaborately about Baba's concerns instead just asking for rishta and then blaming,he could say that how he gave a long thought before accepting it and why he fired Nidhi.
2.Nidhi has tried almost nothing to convince about the concerns and after the break-up,she pretends to be happy before them. How can Baba understand Nidhi's maturity or her debt in this relation?
If they tried enough,i could say that Baba is wrong(he could not wait till Nandini's education completed, destroyed her career and BB's dream,so he was selfish before) in this case also,i would not mind if AshNi would run away and do shaadi without Baba's approval if Baba would remain adamant even after their attempts.

CB clearly said, he is not against love marriage...he is against age-gap marriage..

and he does have all the authority to have his beliefs until he is proved wrong... Unfortunately, neither Mandira's husband nor Ashutosh did that noble work. Never Nidhi revealed why she loves Ashutosh to her father.. of course she didnt even discuss with Ashutosh even ..(for all the reasons that she only knows)

We Analyse here so Nicely..But main Question is...

are CVs Analysing any character and writing scenes???..They make each and every Character to behave differently as per their fancy??.No consistency...Suddenly A boy Who Gave his 100% for frendship out of Blue Fell in love.with his Best Freind...

...Baba was so Supportive of Nidhi...He could have Discussed With Ashu and Nidhi about The depth of their Relationship,Their Concern..their mental compatibility and then would have taken Decision...But he chose to Give order to his Daughter to 'Back Off'...🤪
