Pyaar ki baatein chedna bekaar tha.If Mallu was showing interest to move on,he should have encouraged her.He could say,as a true friend, that Jagan was not a good choice,so she should choose anyone else-better than Jagan.

agree with shali. ashu could have taken the easy way out by encouraging mallu to marry jagan or whoever. but by doing so he would have lost respect in all of our estimations. he lost respect for himself once already when he took the easy way out and terminated nidhi from the hospital. that should be the first and last. its now up to him to handle mallu's proposal frankly and tactfully. imo, ktlk mein vaadha's have become the source of all problems, nidhi's vaadha to her baba, ashu's vaadha to nidhi and now ashu's vaadha to mallu. perhaps the only dimwittedness ashu has shown is by promising mallu she can have "anything" in return for the maakan. mallu jaise criminal-minded aurat ki saath, u need the top lawyers to negotiate a contract without any loopholes yaar.. 😆
